Liked the idea sanding the scales lightly, get cream dark brown effect

As I was working on putting these on a knife, I discovered that once you cut them, the interior of the piece is white which is a stark contrast to the exterior color. I tried to dye it, but the material would not take any type of dye that I had. I also tried some wood stain, but it wouldn't work either.I ended up not using them. My suggestion to the makers would be to ensure that the entire piece is at least a color similar to the exterior so that if scuffing or abrasions occur, it doesn't contrast greatly and stick out like a sore thumb. Needless to say, I would not purchase these again.

These are not flat on the bottom, and they are only 6mm in the center. Not what i was expecting. Im thinking these are going to be too thin. You can see on the ruler that they are 3.74 long and the caliper shows the 6mm thickness. Will look for a better product

Other negative reviews are spot on! This product is concave and measured at it's thickest point. It is not in traditional scale shape. Unless you want something cheap to practice with i don't recommend this product.

Did not like these at all they do not process well and look like made by elementary school kids

I didnt even use them. horrible little plastic scales. I held onto them for a while, was going to use them on a junker knife...nope - just decided to toss them.
