I have a rat problem as I keep chickens, I have tried many ways to shoot them with my air rifle.I have recently adapter an old camcorder to fix to my sight and needed an infrared source to illuminate.So 6 rats on my first night with this - just perfect, lit up the area like I had a spotlight making the rats so easy to see without them knowing I was even there. Very good quality, scope mount sturdy, recharges easily, easy to focus for wide are until you spot movement and then close focus to get the best view, highly recommended.

All the components that came with my package were also well made. The packaging it came in was also very good and well presented.Q: What was bad about this item?A: The button on the base of the torch was FAR too sensitive to the point I was unable to set a mode I.e. low, medium and high beam.Q: And finally the ugly...A: This item didn’t simply work for me although my item was probably faulty I do believe that that this should not happen straight out of the box.Q: Would you advise for someone else’s to buy this product?A: Yes, but I’m not sure whether mine was just a bad item that didn’t work. As I said the item itself looked great but I don’t think this product with the current mode select button on the base of the torch is well enough made in order for this item to be a success. I think if the manufacturer made the mode select button a different way then this IR torch would be fabulous!I’ve returned mine and requested a refund.If this review helps you give this review a thumbs up.

Works brilliant I can see on my home made night vision out to about 35 to 40 yards witch is perfect for me the three mode dimmer works well as does the focus added a photo of a rat at 27 yards you can see its head very clear

Thought it was a little bit overpriced when I bought it but it seemed like the best option so I bit the bullet, definitely worth every penny in the end! Exceptionally well built, I could probably hammer a nail with this thing, and great brightness from it. One complaint I'd have is every time you turn it on, it's a different brightness, so you have to be mindful of that - but you can see the dull red ir led so you can figure out what setting it's at without major difficulty.

very pleased, very bright, easy to set how wide your been of light you need. I'm using quick realise mounts to fit onto my night scope, great price, well built. I've dropped it and no damage to it at all. cheaper then other ir's on the market. very pleased, came on time, well packed.

I bought this to use with my NV monocular and was honestly stunned at the difference it made - it's certainly too bright for indoor use (where I first tried it!). Outdoors, it's great - lights up everything while being completely invisible in the field.

well made, I bought the package with battery / charger / rifle mount clamp / cables and rat tail conversion cap., its very good quality and I would highly recommend it for ir night vision viewing to watch wildlife and or get rid of rats and other pests. just requires an ir camera mine cost £35
