Works great and sounds better than the default mic
The mic wire from my original HyperX Alpha headset started to cause problems (wouldn't register any audio or it would sounds like I was in the middle of a hurricane) after a year of use so I bought this as a replacement. Fits perfectly and according to all my friends, sounds way better than the original.

This does not like to stay in the cloud alpha headset as it barely snaps in enough to pick up but one bump and your looking in the floor for the mic
