anybody and everybody can connect with this device. It's an open Bluetooth device. Tell the random person to disconnect so you can connect your device.

Q: How does this one compare to other models that have treble and bass controls?

The sound is essentially flat which is good. If you like really boomy bass look elsewhere. If you like realistic music reproduction, this will do it. I have Monoblock tube amps for my main system. This little thing truly surprised me. It sounds great.

Q: Can i use a 24 volt 5 amp psu and not worry about the amp get to hot. as you know high power means cleaner sound at a moderate listing level.

I suggest using only the supply adapter that comes w the amp
