This Grapevine raised rectangular Urban Garden planter is , made from reclaimed pine wood used in recycled pallets. The recycled pine frame is complemented by attractive powder-coated black steel legs, taller than our original rectangular planter, providing durability and style. A plastic liner is included for easy and clean filling.

Flimsy construction-Must be augmented to keep from falling apart at 1st rain
Bought 2 of these planters. Went together fairly easy. Initially used included hardware (against my better judgement. Also used plastic insert (also against my better judgement). 1st heavy Texas rain; the bottom slats broke on both and dumped everything down to the ground--both planters. If you don't bore some drain holes through the plastic and the bottom slats, it will retain ALL the rainwater and will collapse. I had to completely rebuild both using different screws and sturdier bottom slats. Cheaper to build your own.

Really Shoddy
You have to square off everything, and the pieces that are pre-glued just fall apart. You will probably want to use your own screws and glue to reinforce everything if you get it. You have to square everything off yourself, and the wood is light and splits easily.

Not great unless you’re handy at fix-it.
Poor screws. No point on them. Construction of bottom panel is stapled. They fall apart easily. Love the rustic look. Nice height. Plastic liner is good and bad. It keeps the patio from drainage stains, but doesn’t let oxygen get to the roots.

Cool, but broke a week in.
These are really cool, but after we assembled it the bottom fell apart a week in. Before we even put dirt in it. And now to get a new one I have to disassemble and send back? Expected more for the price.

A regrettable purchase...
I regret not reading the reviews before purchasing! I DID reinforce the bottom with my own screws, but the bottom fell out after about 3 weeks. It’s a real shame — it is a nice looking planter once you get it together and it’s made in the USA, but the shoddy quality makes it a regrettable purchase.

Bottom split and fell out after 2 months.
There is not adequate reinforcement on the bottom of this planter to support the weight of the dirt one it is filled. The bottom panel completely split in half and fell out, dumping the contents to the ground.
