This item was packaged really well and had no damage. The included "instructions," which were more of a generic diagram, were pretty useless. If you've never installed anything like this before, you may need more guidance than is included in the box. Or you can just use common sense. I do strongly recommend attaching the chains to the fixture before connecting its wires to the ceiling electrical box (it's too hard to do this when it's hanging from the ceiling). I was able to install this myself with no assistance, including holding the shade while also attaching the chains and bottom finial. It looks great and I'm very happy with it.

Beautiful light. Thought it would be too big but looking old nice. Took a long time to install due to getting the chains to reach. Had to adjust finial bar a couple of times. Really need a video or better directions

This light is very elegant once you get it installed. The photo lead me to believe that it hung down a bit from the ceiling but in truth it is very close. The chains were tricky. We live in a 1910 apartment and the existing light fixture was old fashioned and required some modifications to get the new one to fit. Because it is a heavy shade we assembled everything except the shade and attached it to the ceiling fixture prior to putting the shade on. Unlike other reviewers I do not think it’s cheap or of poor workmanship. The ‘artglass’ feels nice and has a warm tone. For the price I think it’s fantastic. Much cheaper than HomeDepot. It is dim but that is to be expected with stained glass. It’s in my hallway and creates a different mood than the previous light. I have always loved Tiffany lamps and windows but could not afford them. I am now very excited about my hallway. It came with a well-labeled diagram sheet with instructions that were somewhat helpful. I don't know anything about lighting and was able to figure it out. The shade was too heavy for me to lift up though - I had the help of a strong man with an electric drill-screwdriver who stood on the ladder.

Most other reviewers are right: the directions need some work. The unit ships mostly assembled but assembling the few base pieces together is a mystery to be solved by the installer. If you've installed a ceiling lamp before you should be able to figure it out (hint: the lamp's threaded spindle does not screw into the electrical box crossbar and the metal cup goes between the base and the stem). That said, the lamp is a gorgeous piece of art, exactly like the photos and a large 16-inches in diameter. it's definitely glass with textures, color swirls and jewels, it's surprisingly light and sturdy. The foil and solder work are clean and look great too. This Chloe Tiffany Ceiling Lamp really transformed our entry way, replacing a clumsy baroque fixture that was hanging there on borrowed time. We are very pleased with our purchase. Well worth the price.

A little crooked even after 4 hours. It was my first time installing a light fixture so yeah.. really nice quality over all. Used two daytime led bulbs and looks great.

This Tiffany-style light is gorgeous. It impressed me so much in the box and out of the box. The shade is awesome, and makes you wonder how you got it so cheap! It does say that it is made with lead and to wash your hands after handling. I don't worry too much because it is high up and we won't be touching it. The light is a little more dim than I would like - the shade diffuses the light somewhat, but not enough to make me dislike it. Make CERTAIN that you put the light together FIRST, as the directions state. We thought we were smarter than the directions and tried to hang the workings first and then the shade last. MISTAKE! The shade is crazy hard to put on AFTER you hang the bulb fixture. Follow the directions! We ended up having to take it down and do it the way the directions state. Sigh.Also, unlike the last reviewer, we didn't have any problems with wiring. Everything was quick and easy to install so far as the wiring goes. Beautiful light...

I don't think my picture does the fixture justice because it also looks really beautiful and classy without the light on. My back porch leads directly into this hall and guests seem to immediately notice and compliment this light fixture. Of course, anything would have been better than what was there before (see before pic). This fits perfectly into any Victorian home remodel. The price was what originally attracted me to the product and it is well worth the price!

Only after installation, I noticed one little small piece missing, creating a hole. Even though it's not immediately noticeable because it is buried among other colorful pieces, it's quite irritating once you know it's there. Then I saw another tiny hole on a larger piece, caused by a bubble on the glass. There are other glass pieces that have bubbles in it, indicating poor quality glasses.The single sheet installation manual is very poorly produced--you can hardly read it. Even if you read it, the order of installation doesn't make sense. It asks you to pretty much assemble everything before you hang it up. That means you have to hold the entire thing while you connect the wires. I was replacing an old light fixture, so I just followed the reversed order of removing the old one.I have two 60w LED bulbs on it and it looks okay, but it needs to be brighter at times. I have 100w bulbs on the way and hope they will make a difference.The only attraction is the price. If I found that hole disturbing, I have to send it back. I don't enjoy removing, repackaging and shipping it back.I don't know why all others reviewers gave it five star, but this is definitely not a high quality product.
