Low cost condenser mic
I use this mic is used primarily for micing acoustic guitar or mandolin at small coffee house type gigs. The sound is quite good, and its sensitivity allows the instrument to be some distance from the mic, which can be handy if you're trying to mic several instruments at once from one mic. I have another mic of this size, an SE-1, and the two are comparable. I've not had any problems with mine, and would buy another if this one were to disappear (which sometimes happens at gigs!)

Bought one last year... so good that I bought two more....
These are used in an elementary school cafeteria. They are hung so that they pickup 1/3 of the stage. One mic did such a great job, I bought two more. Now I have complete coverage that produces such a clear and transparent sound image of the action on stage. I also had Rode mics and a few others but quickly found out that nothing came close to this mic. The other mics have their place as they perform well in other situations... but these pencil mics just did the trick in my case. I would completely recommend these for over-head mic'ing.

They work fine.
These mics are the only good option out there if you want a pair of cheap drum overheads. Sounds cool on any kind of percussion, vocals, group vocals, and bass. Make good room mics too. Do yourself a favor and spend 80 dollars on a pair of these no matter what kind of setup you have, and you will use them. CHEAP TOOLS THAT WORK.

Perfect sound capture
Bought this after testing several more expensive mics and was very impressed at how it captured the tone and characteristics of my Guild Jumbo Acoustic. This CAD mic sounded even better than my $1200.00 AKG414!Would definitely suggest you at least give it a try.

Hot little mic.
This is one hot little mic. It picks up the choir perfectly. Just what we needed and at a great price.

Excellent
This is an excellent mic for general use. Pick up is great from a reasonable distance and we use the mic at a church podium, where the speaker may move a bit from directly behind the mic, but can still be heard well through the speakers. A good choice.

Mediocre
I bought this microphone since it was an inexpensive condenser microphone which seemed to handle a great frequency range. Unfortunately, it doesn't replicate the sound that well and seems to lower the pitch a little. I didn't expect this from this mic since it's supposed to be for vocals. The quality of the sound from the microphone is really good however.

Close enough
Very good for high hats or placing two of them over a drum set. They're not a Neumann but for my busget they're close enough.
