Organic Pitted Dates - All Natural, Fat Free, Organic Deglet Noor Pitted Tunisian Dates, from Kartago - 10 Ounce

The first few dates I had from this 28 oz container were flavorful, moist, and not too sweet. Until i stumbled on a group that were moldy!!! GROSS!! I added photos. I could not bear the thought of eating any more. Furry dates...means that they have been in storage too long or were not properly processed. I dont usually buy this brand, but my brand was out of stock. Wont buy again. Had to throw the hole container away. What a waste.

The container wasn't re-closable. The seal was loose. The otherwise great contents were dry or desiccated and most of the flavor was lost. The entire stock may be defective andOUGHT to be STRIPPED and used to make DATE LIQUOR or fermented into an alcohol based condiment for cooking or pastry. The new products ought to be repackage to make them aFIVE STAR ITEM.

Just as expected: fresh, tightly packaged, expire date in 13 months. Excellent flavor, not too sweet. Very firm, easy to dice, hold shape in Morrocan dishes. And to me, better snacking than the larger Medjools, which to me are way too sweet, and too sticky. If you like Medjools, buy them! Don't post complaints that Deglet Noors are dry or not so sweet! Firm is not dry!! Excuse me, gonna go eat a few dates.

These dates are hard and small. Didn't particularly care for the taste. I used them as snacks and not for cooking so I expected more from the taste. I have been buying medjool dates for a long time but got these ones as the medjool were out of stock. Won't buy these ones again. The medjool dates I get are much larger, softer and tastier than these ones.

I ordered 2 containers in February since they had been delicious last year when i first bought them. The expiration date is June 30, tho I just ordered them in February as I said. They are so dry with many split open and not much inside. They are not inedible and i have been snacking on them, but a real disappointment in the condition they are. I doubt I will even bother eating the 2nd container. I won't purchase them again.

I've bought other brands of dates on Amazon several times but these are nasty. They taste of plastic or chemicals as if they've been stored near something very strong smelling, disgusting. They're going in the trash, a complete waste of money.

These are really good dates but the top had come off of the container during shipping and they were loose in the container. Luckily they were in a clean plastic shipping envelope so I ate them anyway. The plastic band that holds the lid on is not adequate for the rigors of shipping.

OMG! Delicious! A bit pricey, but worth it!I ordered again!Second time I ordered dates were dry.Won't buy again!
