Kinetic Sand, Castle Containers 10-Colour Pack Non-Toxic Educational and Creative Sensory Play Sand Toys for Boys and Girls Aged 3+

I’ve been really impressed with this Kinetic Sand set. It comes with 10 individual containers in different colours, which is great for encouraging creativity and mixing new shades. The texture is exactly what you’d expect from Kinetic Sand – soft, mouldable, and very satisfying to play with. It holds its shape well but still crumbles nicely, making it ideal for building and sensory play. It has been an excellent item for my 8-year-old autistic son, who is sensory seeking. He really enjoys the texture and finds it very engaging and calming, and it keeps him occupied for a good amount of time. One thing I particularly like is that it doesn’t dry out, so it can be reused again and again without losing its quality. Cleanup is also fairly easy compared to other messy play materials.

Great value for money (I got these for like £12 on a discount) Will be plenty of fun for my children. Size wise I wish the pots were a tad bigger but I don’t mind them as they are to be honest

Not easy to get the sand out. Very easy to store. Children love the sand, enjoy playing with it all the time. Great value for money.

This set has plenty of sand and colours and great as a starter set. I much prefer this to Play Doh because it’s easy to clean away at the end of play and doesn’t dry out or stick to anything. Great value for money. Worth every penny!

This kinetic sand set has been really fun for imaginative play. My boy especially enjoys using it for construction play, building little roads, towers, and digging areas with the moulds and containers included. The sand is soft, easy to shape, and keeps children entertained for quite a while. One thing I really liked is that it vacuums up surprisingly well without staining the carpet or leaving colour marks on the floor, which makes cleanup much easier compared to some other sensory products. I would still recommend using a tray or play mat to keep everything contained. The only downside is that after mixing all the colours together repeatedly, the sand eventually turns into a brownish-grey colour instead of staying bright and separate. Aside from that, it is a great sensory activity set for indoor play and rainy days.

Bought for school kids. Great selection of colours - there was some fighting over the 'natural' looking one. Kids love having the castle shape pots to help them build with the sand, the castle encourages them get creative if they need a little help with ideas. Great for sensory seeking children and those who like to mix colours up to create new colours. Have used to encourage sharing as there's only one of each colour. Really sticky, good quality kinetic sand. ADHD kids played with it for a solid hour.

Sand has interesting keep together behavior. It is true that sand is not enough to make castle, so I bought two of them. Also, colors are many, very nice shades.
