We used these for our gender reveal and they worked wonderfully. Everyone was very excited to see what we were going to have, including us. We set up in the back yard at my brother's house. The ball was placed. It was sized and weighted just like a real golf ball.When the ball was hit it did puff out in a brightly colored cloud. Revealing … A BOY!There are two minor points that caused me to give this 4 stars instead of 5. First, the cloud could have been a little bigger and more visible. We had a small party of about 15 people. If there had been a large party this could have been an issue for those farther away. Second, the ball threw shrapnel a good way. It didn't hurt anyone, but in a small back yard it was an issue. It would have been good for a warning about this to have people stand behind us and not to the sides.Other than those two minor issues this was a quality product that did exactly what was expected of it.

Liked this product and glad I got it. However with that being said, you could see upon inspection which ball was which around the seam. I think when sealing up product there is dye in seam and when closed it was melted in. But if someone else is setting up tee this won’t be an issue when keeping gender a secret until go time. I was expecting to see more dye cloud when struck but both colors were vibrant enough to see on a sunny day. Good product for the money.

The media could not be loaded.  The plastic bits are very thick and sharp on explosion and there isn’t a lot of powder.

My significant other passed away 2 months ago, and before he did he chose to do a golf theme gender reveal considering it was his favorite thing. Well, I did not want to change the reveal idea because it was what he wanted , so I did my best to hit the golf ball ( never hitting a golf ball in my life ) . knowing he was cracking up at me in heaven. The ball didnt explode as it was suppose to because i am awful, but It did hit the ground hard enough to tell me what we are having . It was a lot of fun, and I am grateful that I had the chance to hit this golf ball as my first and last. Also we are having our second girl ! :)

Our theme was "Putters or Pearls" so we ordered these powdered filled golf balls. They are super cute and worked like a charm the only thing is that you can kind of tell by looking at the ball what color is inside. So make sure if you don't want to know until it explodes don't look at the ball too closely.

Was perfect for our gender reveal, the balls are really sturdy and don’t open until impact with a golf club. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves golf and wants to have a fun gender reveal!

We received 2 pink balls and not one of each. We ended up finding out we were actually having a boy. Very unhappy and it ruined our gender reveal.
