Excellent upgrade over stock!
I do not write a lot of reviews, but this was such a good product, I was compelled to.I originally “upgraded” my speakers in my 2019 F-150 STX with JBL Club speakers, and it was a huge mistake. The speakers had built in tweeters and the whole sound was thrown off. It may have been even worse than stock.I had to find a set of component speakers that fits in a stock location, and found these. This kit includes everything to replace your door 6x9 mid/bass. It also includes a nice set of tweeters (look similar, but wayyyy better). I used some YouTube videos, and a cheap set of plastic trim tools found on Amazon. The install took about 2 hours. The sound is a significant bump. As it does not include a a sub, you need to temper expectations if you are a bass head. Overall, it sounds very clean with a nice bump in the mids and a small bass increase. Set the speakers to the all occupant settings (if you have Sync 3), or it can be a bit sibilant.Overall, this is really affordable and looks stock. If you have reasonable expectations, you cannot go wrong!

A definite upgrade, if your not wanting a major change.
Fit perfectly, plugged in with factory harness. More bass than factory speakers and the tweeters added slightly more highs than factory tweeters. Satisfied with this purchase. Now I've got to get my door panels to stop rattling.

Solid upgrade for a 2015 F-150
Purchased this as an upgrade after my passenger side door speaker died.INSTALL:Installation is quick. For a 2015 F-150, the speakers are a direct fit with no modifications needed. It took me about 45 minutes to replace the door speakers on both sides. The tweeters took about 5 minutes for both sides. The package comes with new mounting hardware and adapters to maximize compatibility.SOUND:Sound quality is solid. After installation I tested several genres of music including rap, rock, metal, folk/country, and edm. I found that I needed to tune the midrange down a bit, especially when listening to rock and metal. Even though I found the midrange to be a little overtuned on these speakers, I think the richness and quality of the bass more than makes up for it. There is a likelihood that you will want to tune the EQ on your head unit to match your sound profile preference. Since these speakers are a factory replacement, there is no need for an amplifier with a higher output.

Major Difference From OEM!
I decided to upgrade all of my speakers in my Ford Explorer Limited 2013. And when I say it was the best decision I've made in some time, it really was. I am an audiophile at heart, since I spend most of my time in my car, I need clear warm sound that won't leave me with a headache after listening to it for a while. And I also love to drown out the outside noise as well. Now, my Explorer came with the upgraded 10 speaker system which is loud and sounded pretty good, but I know due to age and constant loud music usage, they were beat up. The one thing I did hate about the OEM system were the tweeters. After doing enough research, I decided to go with these based on the reviews and the convenience of it being a plug and play. Now, before I continue, while you are reading this and deciding on getting these speakers, also get sound deadening material as well and kill two birds with one stone, trust me, you will be thanking me tremendously. Now, I installed them after doing the entire door with sound deadening, and I was amazed at the sound. Now, they are not louder than the OEM and that is due to the wattage difference, these hold slightly more wattage, but you will not be disappointed at all, because it doesn't always have to be about being loud, but clear, very clear audio especially coming from voices and instruments. Now, as someone else said, of you are a person who craves treble, these tweeters are warm and not overly bright compared to other brands. To me, that was the issue with the OEM tweeters, they were overly bright. From my experience, any tweeters that is overly bright needs an EQ, and let's face it, our cars don't have that unless you go aftermarket which is something I did not want to do.These speakers are tuned, and meant to go with our cars, that is something that many do not understand when they leave negative feedback. You cannot run a speaker that handles 500 watts on an amp channel that only sends out 80 watts, the speaker will be under powered and will sound horrible. These are beautiful compared to the OEM Sony's, the difference when feeling them is world's apart. Keep in mind that the OEM speakers are at best a $25 speaker compared to these. The bass is more realistic, the music in instrumental music is higher.I tried it with different music, from Latin, to jazz, to rock and alternative, and then I turned it to the diplo station on my SiriusXM and that's when they really showed the depths of their range, playing that high quality house music made these speakers the clear winner. Now, if you're going to change the amp keep in mind that these were tuned to be played on the OEM amp.

Perfect 2017 F150 Limited front door replacement
I didn't use the tweets, but the 6x9's are a PERFECT replacement for the cheap garbage speakers Ford used in the front doors of the '17 F150 Limited. Sound as good or better, and they're 100% plug n play. 10 min to change both doors of you're familiar with disassembly, maybe a half hour for a novice

Quality upgrade
I recently replaced my factory am/fm radio in my 2017 Ford superduty F250 XL with a ATOTO S8. Well the sound was improved with the factory speakers but they couldnt handle the power of the headunit. So I went looking for a set of replacement speakers. These were suggested in all my research as a popular amazon replacement. Quick 5 min youtube video on how to take the doors apart and within a hour I replaced both door speakers and added dynamat over the clear plastic covering in the doors.HUGE sound improvement! I still cant believe it really. I have yet to replace the factory tweeters they actually sound ok....Awesome bass and mids. Fit and finish is great with quality materials. Plug right into factory connections. I've owned just about every brand of speakers over the years and have yet to have one that was this easy a install and sound this good. Bravo powerbass!
