Decent but not quite "supple"
When I first opened the box and checked out this hose I actually laughed out loud. There is a bit of comedy to a hose titled "soft and supple" being so stiff. Had they not titled it soft and supple I would have rated it an extra star, but they kind of set themselves up. While it's not the stiffest hose I've ever owned, and I've owned many hoses, it's certainly stiffer than a rubber, or flexogen 3/4" garden hose. But the supple issue aside it looks to be a perfectly decent quality rugged hose. The ends are medium quality I would say, certainly better than stamped ends but not as good as all machined ends. For the price, which is nearly half the cost of a flexogen hose, I would say this is a very good value. Had it been more supple and had all machined ends I would have given it 5 stars. Maybe for the price it deserves 4 stars, but I'm sticking with 3. Cheers !

Not as “soft and supple” compared to older Swan hoses. Can hardly use them, very unhappy.
Like: The connector is nicely designed to screw onto the faucetDislike: it is not as “soft and supple” as older Swan hoses I have, something has changed

used to be good, but now it's "kink city"
I bought a Swan Soft and Supple hose at a local hardware store many years ago, and it was excellent. Later, when I wanted to buy more, the local store was gone (a victim of the big store I'll leave out of this). I found that particular hose was still available online, and bought a few more. (I have a large lot, and need 175' of hose in front and in back.) This last hose, however, was terrible. If you're dragging a hose and it gets a loop, pulling from a distance just results in it folding and kinking. I don't know if these hoses are out of production and have been sitting on the shelf too long, or they're no longer being made with the quality of materials they were years ago. This will be the first time I've ever scrapped a nearly new hose, but it's just too terrible to bother fighting with. I'm trying another brand that has good reviews here on Amazon, and won't be buying Swan again, ever.

First time with a 3/4-inch hose
Definitely a positive difference between this and the standard 5/8-inch hoses. Great flow rate. Unwind it wisely and you will minimize any kinking. If you rush, you will kink the hose. Suggestion would be some sort of hose reel, either mounted or on wheels. Great value and quality hose. Also suggest using the Gilmour full flow connectors for excellent flow rates.

Poor quality
This was a gift for my dad who was in need of a replacement hose that he had purchased 15 years ago (same exact brand and specs as the older one). He just used it for the first time a few days ago and reported that the quality of the hose is very poor compared to the older one he had from 15 years ago and it easily links up, making it very difficult to use. I feel that for the money I spent, and how long it took to ship to me (which was over a month), that the quality should have been better. Awaiting a response from the seller.

Not so Soft or supple
So far I found this hose to be overly stiff, and liable to kink.On the package it is middle rated by Swan in both regards.I following instructions and unpackaged the hose in 25C temperatures. As well, the spiral wire hose coupling protector show on the Amazon site did not exist in practice.I really wanted something rubbery, kink less, tough and reel able. This was not it.
