Won a concours with this product. Correct for DB Astons! DO NOT put on too thick. Excellent coverage and the right look.

I bought this paint to refinish a vintage fan that belonged to my Grandfather. It was close to the original color, but I knew from the start that it was not a perfect match. The paint goes on as directed, and the heavier the coats, the more it 'hammers'. A few light coats will get you an 'orange peel' type finish, while really laying it on with heavy wet coats will swirl, and turn into a paint effect called 'fisheyes' only hundreds of them! I did a little of both, depending upon the part of the fan I was painting. All in all it turned out very nice, and I will consider using Masterchem products in future restoration projects. Also as with any 'rattle can' paint, spend a few (as in at least three) shaking, twirling, and any other moves you can think up to thouroughly mix the contents.

Strange color, but working as rust preventer.

The quality of HAMMERITE paint is amazing. It seals metal for exterrior applications that is unmatched. However, the spray can version doesn't work very well. I got about half way through the can and the spray nozzle clogged. I ended up throwing it out without using the entire can.Since I bought 3 of them, I was able to finish my project, but next time I will buy the pint or quart liquid version and brush it on.

Good product, wrong color sent, but I can use it for its intended purpose any way.
