It did the Job
I liked the ease of assembly. However they fit a bit crooked due to my port location. Non-Vesa mounting can be tricky like that. Had to do some serious adjusting in order to get the mount to feel secure on the monitor but was able to get there.

Trial and error
I am not a handy person so this took me a few tried to get the setup correct. Once I figured it out, it was great. I love this item.

It holds the monitor yes but when I try to confidently reposition my monitor fell out! I have to slightly and carefully move it

Perfect VESA workaround!
Many more adjustments with this mount allow the best chance for a vesa conversion to take place. Cord orientation and original surface mount areas should be taken in to consideration.

Could work, but didn't for me.
While it was easy to put together and I could see it working for some monitors, my Dell monitor had edges at such an angle that the "hands" couldn't truly grab on. I wish they were longer, or had some way of getting a better grip.
