Much better than a handheld
For one-person bottling, this is a must. I did not screw it to my table because my table is an antique. Actually I saved the shipping wrap to place between this and my table, and it worked fantastically to keep from scratching.Highly recommend! I bottled 5 gallons in no time compared to my Red Baron two-handled capper. I did have a couple missfires, but you can tell immediately and resolve without too much trouble. The biggest benefit over the RB was that I did not break a single bottle - as I have in the past by myself. Definitely worth the investment if you plan to bottle several gallons on your own - or make life easier for a friend who helps.

Works but needs improvement.
Better than the cheaper options however, the spring loaded capper portion and base are a bit chinsey. We make kambucha (80 bottles every 2 weeks) so I'm familiar with these style cappers. Easy to assemble and adjust height but after the first attempt, the metal round housing that holds the cap broke off and stuck to the bottle! With 7 gallons of booch ready, had to take apart the spring assembly and hammer the broken peice back on and gingerly reattach it after several fails. Luckily after a 30 minute delay, it capped the 80 bottles w/ no issues.Works but not rigid where you need it to be and base is very thin metal. When its dialed in, it does cap quickly and easily but don't think it will last very long.

Missing hardware, manufacture tolerance issues, requires modification.
The M6 screws provided were too short to mount the stand to the base. I have to go out and get longer M6 screws in order to mount the stand. The lever provided had spurs on the hole for the screw. This is from poor Chinese manufacture practices. No chamfer was put on the hole. The tolerance between the the lever and the mount was too tight and could not be inserted without modifying the leaver. I also added rummer feet on the bottom to prevent damaging the table surface and prevent the base from slipping. After the modifications were performed, the bottle capper works great. The stand is sturdy. It works with multiple size (heights) bottles.

Good over all. May need to modify or Jerry rig.
Over all good item. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I found that the base screws were not long enough and the holes were not threaded well. I just cut the plate off and put bolts in it.

Don't expect super high quality.
It seems a bit flimsy but it helped me cap 4 - 5 Gal brews in one go without getting tired, so it seems like it's holding up okay.

Dont buy. Not to well made.
Bolts were to short and didnt thread tight like they should be. Luckily I had other bolts and nuts that worked. Then 2 bottles in the cheap feeling metal ring around magnet popped right off. Cant get it back on. Super glue didnt work. It is nice for different height and bottle neck sizes.

Really cool
Iโm super happy with this bottle cap sealer! It came with bottle caps and feels durable and sturdy. I canโt wait to use it on our new line of beverages and highly recommend this sealer for your bottling needs!

Awesome. Exceeded expectations
Perfect for my use. We make eggnog every Christmas. Made us look pretty legit. Everyone asked if we were selling our egg nog since we were handing out bottles as gifts.
