Acne. org products stay fresh for many months so even if you leave them on the shelf unopened, they should be effective to use. You may view the expiration date of the bottle at the bottom while the tube has the expiration date embossed on the tip at the back.

For years this has been yellow and is now bright white (not yellowish at all). Did it change or is it mislabeled?

We have changed the formulation of the Moisturizer recently. We'll be updating our website for the formula change in a few days. We've been receiving tons of reviews from people over the years that they are not fond of the yellow Moisturizer so we reformulated it to work better than before. We have replaced the Licochalcone on our Moisturizer with Glycyrrhiza glabra or also known as Licorice root which is well known as an anti inflammatory ingredient for the skin.

Go ahead and try it and let us know what you think about the new formulation. We're sure that you will like it even more than the yellow Moisturizer.
