Clemagic Premier 3-in-1 Universal Mobile Phone Car Mount

We got this in July of 2015. We used the dashboard suction cup method because we don't want to block our vents, and we don't like anything on the window. Should have known it was not a good purchase when we had to retrofit the ball & socket which kept moving around and when we answered the emails from the vendor and told them about it, they did nothing. So, retrofitted the ball in socket to keep it from moving by putting duct tape in the socket. That's not a real biggie, if the thing stays suction on my dashboard. It did, for about a month. We tried putting it back on and it would come off every so often. Finally, we left it off. I wasn't going to write this, but we found it in the trunk and got annoyed again and I think people should know how poorly it is going to work if they want it on their dashboard. Don't expect it to stick to your dashboard and maybe it will work.

When I first go this I loved it. It took three emails on the third I was told they would send a replacement but it has been two weeks and nothing. Also, I am concerned that the device is fragile and will break again if I get a replacement.After ten months the spring that holds the phone stopped working. I didn't use it that much so it didn't provide much support. So I have to go through the hassle of seeing if they will honor their lifetime guarantee and mail back the part. Below was my first reaction. I am now using a phone holder that uses a magnet. It is much easier to use and probably more reliable.Absolutely love this device. It is simple, small and it is easy to mount on the car and my fits my Samsung Galaxy S-4 with a small case easily. I mount it on my car vent. The design is so simple, I don't know why others sell these big clunky mounts.

This works fine until you need to blast heat on the windshield. Winter in my area is pretty darn cold and when I need to defrost the windshield and warm up the car, this will fall down from the heat (also my phone overheats because of the hot air blowing on it). And no it does not stick on my dashboard either. It sticks to glass fine. It doesn't stick to my dash (the plastic on my dashboard is not smooth so that's probably why...). I need a different solution...

It mounts to dash really well, but it's very hard to put an iPhone6Plus with a case in it. It's very tight fit, hard to insert or remove.Update: May '16: I'm downgrading this two 2 stars because about 2 months ago, the suction cup stopped working completely. I've tried to reach the seller (Clemagic) twice to see what the problem is and had no response. It seems unreasonable for it to last less than 12 months, esp. when I don't use it daily, or live in a hot climate. I wouldn't buy from them again.

*****EDIT******The company has sent me a replacement for the one that did not work and it works great!!!! Must have just gotten a bad one!!! The company sent the replacement one out right away and I had the product within 3 days of asking for it. It works great, little to no motion and does exactly what I want. I use it to hold my old phone which I use as a dash cam!!! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!!*****EDIT*****I ordered 2 or these and 1 did not work at all, it wouldn't stick to any surface I tried. Yes, I did clean the surface before trying to attach it. However, the second one worked like a charm. I did order a replacement and hopefully that one will work.

Great for my iPhone 5s in a case. Adjusts for different sizes. Once I figured out that's better on the windshield than the top of the console, it has been perfect. It would only stay on the console for a week or two, then pop off. On the window is best, just a slight shift of the eye to see the directions while traveling. Can use sideways or longways, easy to adjust and since the phone is held on the sides of the phone, does not interfere with the charging cable.

I've owned this mount for 5 months, always using the suction cup to stick it to my dashboard whenever I needed it to navigate. It was great and easy to use until recently, when it started rattling and acting very loose. Today it broke suddenly while I was driving, sending my phone launching across my car. I was behind someone turning left and tapped the gas and apparently that was enough to make it fall to pieces! As convenient as this phone mount is, I'm now very hesitant to seek a new one - imagine what might have happened if it had broken when I was at highway speed.

Once you insert the phone, it works great as you drive. Holds tight. Only reason I may look for a different one when I have to replace it is that it holds phone so tightly that it's difficult to insert/release the phone. It needs something to grab to make it easier to pull open. Other than that, it holds phone at good angle; holds securely; easy to install in car.
