I kept it in the padded envelope for safe keeping until I could install it. Well it fell off the table and Coco my Lab thought it was a toy. I sometimes give her empty padded envelopes to play with because the bubble wrap would pop and she had fun popping. So she took it outside and it wouldn’t pop or squeeze so easy I’m assuming because she broke the heck out it and then finally shook the camera out of the bag which she shredded. I found the camera it was pretty busted up which stinks. However I am happy with the customer service. From order to delivery everything was perfect. I will buy a replacement.

Picture quality is horrible. Very choppy and no color. Looks like the camera quality that they used to film the moon landing. I switched it out for the free one that came with the radio. Free one is 100 times better

Have had a number of these over the last few years. The camera, or associated wiring pigtail on the camera end, only last 6-12 months. Don't make your installation permanent because you will have to periodically replace the camera. The long wire leading from the screen is pretty durable however. Camera is pretty good when it's working correctly.Get the cheapest option on these license plate cameras because spending more does not get you anything more. They are all the same cheap POSs.

Literally spent 3 hours trying to get this camera to work. It was missing pieces straight out of the box. I didn’t care as I have lots of wire and stuff needed. Ran all wires and hooked everything up, camera dead. Will not power on. Stay away! Seriously stay away! Straigh my trash! Garbage!

First time wiring a camera to a 2004 Lexus is300Wasn’t to bad. Just had to pull apart the liner in my trunk to find wires for my reverse light. I just wired it into my reverse light. Power and ground pretty simple. No instructions so I actually used instructions off of another backup camera from amazon found picture of instructions through a product review. Image quality isn’t too good but that’s what you’d expect for the price. Upgrade to the $25 one on amazon with the wide angle and I’m sure it will come with instructions as well.oh and the LED LIGHT does not work. I wired the red wire in and everything.

Not too many gripes about it.Pros:Nice and clear (during the day).Easy to put on the licenseInstalling wires is easyPutting the car in reverse brings the camera up quickly with 0 wait.Cons:Night time isn't really clear.Picture color will sometimes go purple, but doesn't restrict viewing.Overall I'm really liking the camera, wish night time viewing was better, but it isn't terrible.

This camera is easy enough to mount, using the screws for the car's tag. The night vision is adequate enough and picture quality is pretty good for the price.My one piece of advice is, if you're unsure how to run the wires for your vehicle, to look it up on YouTube or something, as that can save a lot of headache in the installation process.

Solid rear view camera, only issue I had was mounting didn’t quite line up with my plate screws but it does do it’s job. Is it hd? No but for the price if you need a replacement or want to add a camera for cheap it’s worth it.
