Revell 85-0445 1/570 RMS Titanic Plastic Model Kit, 18.6 x 1.9 x 3.7-Inch

Great model. I attempted to build this a few times as a 10 year old with elmers glue and it was fun. But now as an adult it came out as it truely should have. I made 16 bulk heads inside and added some iceburg damage and weighed it down with weights and it floats ans sinks like the real ship. Fun for kids but please realize it comes as nothing more than hundreds of little white pieces that must be glued togather with toxic modling glue and painted to come to its full potential.

My 10 year old son loved this. He did need some help from dad to paint it. It encouraged him to want to learn more about the Titanic.

The media could not be loaded. This model kit is quite superb, but there are inaccuracies and stuff that don't fit. The dome of the forward grand staircase is wrong. The glass part of it must be more of square shapes lined and fill up the top and Collapsibles C and D are not included. Now, I had a hard time connecting the bridge wings together since whenever I try to connect them, they don't seem to connect and they look messy. Overall, the model and the kit are good. Instructions are clear and pieces are detailed. Be careful though because a lot of pieces are small and very soft.. I've once lost the vent pipe for the bow and broke both the bow crane and flag pole. I've read some (or most) negative reviews and their explanations are total garbage and lazier than a 13 yr. old myself who built and painted this model without help. Their complaints are basically this: "It comes unpainted, no tools, and my child cried because I can't assemble it for him/her." Don't be like this kind of people! I'm guessing they did not research these kinds of model kits. They could've looked up the building or about the model kit in the internet, which I did before buying this.

I bought this for my Son. I didn't know at the time that it was an actual model that required to be put together and painted. This was a huge mistake. The model came as a bunch of white plastic pieces that requires to be cut free, trimmed, sanded,glued, painted. I've own two of these models now. the first one had short spots in the plastic and broke. With my son crying about the broken ship I had to run to town to buy another model. The second model wasn't that much better. Some of the longer pieces were warped in both kits. Which made parts of the ship not line up. I did manage to get the second one together, but it's nothing worth looking at. This was a huge mistake and if it wasn't for my son I would have just thrown it in the trash.

I enjoyed putting the model together i now have it on display it was everything i thought it would be thank you.

The person who left it didn't leave it ony door step other than that its in perfect conditions thank you

The pictures are deceptive. The ship came as all white plastic pieces. The hull is also white, contrary to what the product image, box, and instructions illustrate.

Great kit it has perfect parts people that write a bad review don't know you to build it but if your a good model builder this is the set for you.
