Strathmore318003 100% Pure Cotton Business Stationery, 24lb, 8 1/2 x 11, Ult White, 500 Sheets

This is very nice 100% cotton paper. The watermarks are at the top and bottom of the page not in the middle. The surface does have tooth and is quite absorbent so if you are going to be drawing on it with a fountain pen or a nib you will need one that has a strong flow. It takes pencil very nicely. I could see pastel, conte, or charcoal working well on it too. I couldn't tell you how well it works in a printer since I don't use it for that. I just draw on it. Amazon does not care much about what shape it gets to you in. Mine arrived with dented corners and the packaging was ripped due to being tossed around in the box. Since I am using it for drawing it doesn't matter to me but if you were using it to print up a fancy paper it might be a problem.

I am no expert on the quality of paper or characteristics such as longevity of printed material so I am assuming this product will perform well in those areas based on composition of product and other reviews.Had a need to print 100 pages of legal documents and the cost of going to a local printer and having them supply the paper was more expensive then purchasing a ream of 500 sheets. Now I saved a few buckaroos and also have 400 sheets left for future use.One thing to mention, the paper is easily damaged as in wrinkled so be careful in how you store and transport the paper. For clarification I am not referring to the indelibility of the ink just how easy it is to wrinkle the paper.

I love this paper. I run a business tailored towards high-end clients, and it definitely gives the right impression when they see their information package printed on this.I used to buy it from a national shipping/office/print services firm, however their branch near my house doesn't seem to carry it. Have ordered once on Amazon so far, and of the two reams, about 40 pages total had dog ears, so they made nice coloring paper for my kids. Am about to try it again and see how it goes.UPDATE: Have re-ordered. New packages came with about 30 sheets dog-eared as well, in spite of a little better packaging. Looks like it is hard to ship paper unless you have a package specifically designed for it; at least for Amazon. The rest of the paper is as great as ever. Just remember to align so that it prints watermark up, facing forward (if using single-sided). If you are live in a big city or one with a great office supply store, consider buying locally and you will have less coloring paper!

This is really nice paper! I was looking for an all cotton paper because I've developed an allergy to some component of some dead tree papers. As my mother's deaf, and doesn't do email, writing to her on paper is the best way to communicate. I have no problem with this paper, and it takes fountain pen ink beautifully. My only quibble is that it arrived with the packaging badly torn, and unrelated curling/wrinkling of the first and last several sheets. I've addressed that by folding the paper in half, and using it as a four sided note, with the curl on the bottom side, and it doesn't seem obvious. I suspect that by the time it gets to my mother, it's pretty well sorted itself out.

Ordered and used this paper for printing my dissertation. A few other reviewers commented on the paper arriving with folds and bends in it -- my order arrived with <50 pages out of 1000 with any bends...I consider that pretty good. For the price, a few throw-away pages are worth it. I liked that the watermark on this paper is smaller (and less distracting) than on some other major brand cotton paper I looked at. I used the paper with a laser printer and it worked great. I would recommend this to friends printing their dissertation or thesis. The only reason it received 4 stars is the few bent pages, otherwise it would have 5. I ordered from Amazon and the order was fulfilled by Shoplet.

Nice fancy paper. My only complaint is that the tail of the R was cut off in the watermark so instead of "pure cotton" it looks like "pupe cotton" (in all caps). I like Neenah's Capitol Bond better (more "official" looking watermark) so I probably won't buy this again. EDIT: I got a little further into this ream and the 'R' in pure has the little descender on it now. Must have just been a limited anomaly. I really like the 'feel' of the cotton in my hands! You won't catch me buying dead tree paper again.

I order this pack on Amazon for printing my dissertation (~150 pages, so about 5 copies for double sided printing) based on the price and reviews from other users. The paper is of good quality. The sheets feel good when you rub your finger across. Texts and colored figures are crispy clear with laser printing.Cons: The paper is a little bit not-heavy-enough for me, but this might be a personal preference. About the complaints on the packaging mentioned in other reviews, mine arrived like shown in the product picture, except that the whole pack is put in a cardboard Amazon box. The corners aren't damaged, but it may if the post masters are not careful because the pack and the box are not perfect fit. Besides, first several pages are slightly bent vertically, but it won't show unless under close inspection.

I bought this paper to use for final drafts to hand into my professors. It gives the finished product a good feel and distinguishes your paper or report from the rest. I have not tried this paper with a Laser printer but it looks great with Ink-Jet. The only complaint I have about this paper is the company watermark should not be as visible as it is.

Watermark is discrete, finish is nice and professional, wrapping is standard ream paper wrapping so as far as Amazon packing goes, the ream will arrive damaged 9 times out of 10. Be ready for that.

Very nice paper. Arrived in excellent condition with no pages damaged. All pages contain a watermark but it is pretty subtle.

Amazing product. I am very satisfied.
