Delicious, addictive jerky. I couldn't stop eating it, so I had to hide the bags. For me, it does taste like fish, not beef jerky, so best for fish lovers. My favorite flavors are the juniper and lemon/honey/ginger; the Cajun is great but has a kick, so I can't eat a bag in 10 minutes; it takes a bit longer.This is a perfect healthful snack: for school lunches, athletes, hikers, campers, sailing or boating, or sitting in front of the TV.One for Neptune jerky is sourced in the U.S.A. in a clean area of the Pacific Northwest, by American fishermen. You can even trace where it was caught. The fish is rockfish, which used to be fished in the 20th century, but, for some reason, wasn't for decades. So it is plentiful and is not an endangered species like so many other fish used as food. The fish is made into jerky in the U.S.A. with organic, non-GMO ingredients.As a conscious consumer concerned about food sourcing, One for Neptune jerky is perfect for me. (I want to know that the fish I eat haven't been living in, and are not being farmed in a toxic chlorinated offshore pond, and/or harvested by slave laborers in a country that doesn't regulate the industry).As an American who supports local, regional, traditional community food cultures, I love that American fishermen renewing the fishing of Pacific rockfish, which are plentiful. This helps American fishermen make a fair and good living, protects endangered species of fish, and supports our seas.I research all the food my family and I eat and love the ethos of One for Neptune. The company is a start-up of 3 ethical, cool, young guys, including a marine biologist from Stanford, who want to make the world the better place and love good food. This is the perfect snack if you're an advocate for Slow Food, American food, sustainable food and/or nutritious food. It makes me and my family feel good to eat this product -- on multiple levels.

This is outstanding fish jerky. It is flavorful and moist. They were delivered promptly and vendor checked with me to see how I liked it. It’s a winner.

Having never tried fish jerky before, I was a bit skeptical but liked the mission of these folks enough to give it a try. My goodness, it's so tender! I get tired of gnawing through beef jerky sometimes, but no such fatigue with these toothsome morsels. The honey citrus ginger had a good subtle flavor (very light on the ginger), and I'm looking forward to trying other flavors and varieties of fish. Highly recommend!

It was a bit dry, but the flavor and scent was okay and I think the price was a bit much for the amount. My son liked it.

First of all- I'm not really a fish jerky person. In fact, this is the first I've tried after being recommended it and looking at their Kickstarter page.But I am very much a beef jerky person. So I wasn't super sure what to expect, since fish and beef have very different textures and flavor profiles. Happy to report that this fish jerky had the perfect chew and good flavor! I also liked the Honey Lemon Ginger (though I didn't taste much of the Ginger) better than the Fiery Cajun, though this might be because I don't care much for spicy. I'm also a big fan of the much lower sodium content in this compared to traditional jerky, and felt less guilty going through the whole bag in one sitting.

I have been eating Neptune Jerky for a few years now. Almost always have it while on the slopes, the trail or the water, but occasionally keep it at home for a quick snack there as well. I've especially enjoyed the pollack flavors and will always keep some in my bag.

I tried a variety pack and this was my favorite. The fish is good quality, decent size pieces. A bit pricey compared to beef jerky but great alternative if you like fish.

Once you open it though it is only good for 3 days. It had a good texture and was very chewable.
