This is perfect for storing (hiding) the grandkids toys. The 4 year old climbs on these a lot and they've held up very well. This box also FITS a set of Melissa and Doug cardboard blocks PERFECTLY.

Looks nice, functions well for storing the extra blankets. Have not tried sitting on it as it doesn’t seem that sturdy, but that’s not what I bought it for

It’s a good sized ottoman. It doesn’t look cheap either, which is nice considering the price point.Not as sturdy as the product description suggests though. This thing can not handle anything close to 350 pounds.If you stand on it and evenly distribute your weight it can shakily handle 145 pounds.But when I put weight towards the front of my feet so I could reach up and get closer to the ceiling fan I was fixing I immediately heard cracking noises and had to quickly bail.Didn’t break through it but I saw that it did crack whatever the top of the ottoman is constructed with when I flipped it over.I reinforced mine with some ply wood I had lying around so it’s much safer, but just keep this in mind when making your purchase.

Minimal assembly, nice fabric and good storage size. This is a great deal. I didn’t know what to expect for something that was inexpensive but I am pleasantly surprised. I also purchased the smaller foot stool. I have a small area that needed a bench and this fits perfectly.

Given the price of the bench, I didn't expect it to be 5 star. However, now that I have it and am using it, my expectations are well exceeded.Taking package out of the shipping box, my first thought was that it appeared that it was not going to hold very much. After the bench was assembled, it proved to be roomier than it appeared. There are no assembly instructions, and that's really no problem. Unfold the bench, and it becomes a rectangle. At that point, you may wonder how it's going to be stabilized for use. Look inside the bench cover to find a pull tab. When you pull it, the inside bottom comes out. Place it into place at the bench bottom with pull tab showing, and the bench is stabilized.There is a slight odor, as several purchasers have said. To overcome this, leave the assembled bench open for a day or two, and the odor goes away. Ready to load it with bedding, etc., I found it to hold much more than I had anticipated.As to its strength, my 178 pounds have sat on it several times while putting on shoes, and there was no give in the structure. Plus, the cushioned top is comfortable enough for seating.For the price paid, I think you'd be hard put to find a better value.

I searched high and low for an affordable storage ottoman. Of course I'd like a higher end one, but dang, they get super expensive. I wasn't sure about a "folding" ottoman but finally settled on this one, based on the helpful reviews. Verdict: LOVE IT! looks great in the living room on my gray toned rug with my brown recliner. I have one full sized blanket, a pillow, and a pair of slippers in it now and can fit a lot more. Well made and very functional; can sit on it, and put my feet up on it. Very happy I didn't buy a more expensive one, for now, this one is awesome, Only downfall, and not the fault of the seller, is that my big gray "model" loves it too, to scratch his claws on. I keep a blanket over it when I am at work to keep it from getting shredded.

I was skeptical about this ottoman ( for the price). It looks elegant, fits my space well, color of grey is perfect, very easy to assemble , fairly lightweight. It has replaced a large basket that I had living room items in….and now they are still accessible but hidden . I liked the one I bought for my bedroom ( to store sheets in) so I bought a second one for my living room ! Definitely recommend…

You get what you pay for here. Very light, good for feet, but not very sturdy as a bench. Handles my 200 pounds ok. The fabric is thin and lasted 20 minutes with our puppy, but we bought this cheap Ottoman anticipating it would be damaged while our puppy grows through its chewing stage. For pet free dwellings this is a good starter piece of furniture but would be surprised if it lasted more than a year or two. Overall a good value.
