This syrup dispenser it a little large for what we use it for, and other reviewers are right, it does leave a very small drip at the spout. HOWEVER, this is a great dispenser for honey. First, because honey is a thicker than syrup, the spout drip is less of a problem. But what is wonderful about this dispenser is that it keeps the honey from "sugaring" as fast as it does in store containers. If the honey does sugar, it is a simple matter to heat it the glass container (remove the top) in a pot of hot or boiling water. The glass part is very thick glass, so this process is safe. The thickness of the glass means that the cooling of the honey is slow, which prevents the recrystallization of the honey. Works great for us.

The dispenser is made of glass and metal and is a high quality item. I have had no issues so far. I use it for fresh honey.

I’ve tried everything, but it always leaks on the table where I keep it. Very annoying and frustrating, as I don’t even seem to understand where the leaks come from. I’ve stopped using it, it’s now trash.UPDATE: After reviewing, I read another review that suggested reversing the position of the inner gasket plastic ring. I tried it, and the leaking stopped. There’s apparently a trick to placing the gasket which obviously wasn’t how it came from the factory. Place the gasket on the bottle and let the inward side face down and snugly on the bottle before screwing up the top. Simple change made all the difference. The leaks stopped. So, I’m reversing the stars to 5.

I love honey in my tea, yet I have a sticky phobia, making the journey from honey jar into tea (where is is magically rendered un-sticky) a journey fraught with peril. This dispenser was the perfect solution for a few months. We stored it on the back of the oven so it would stay warm and not crystallize. Sadly, it eventually developed a mystery leak, which we could never pinpoint. I ordered a second one that we plan on keeping stove-adjacent, thinking that perhaps it was too hot where we had it.

We use it for honey. It leaks from the side of the cap. There is small hole on the cap to make it easier to pour. If you tilt the container too much you will have honey coming out from the back close to the handle when you are done pouring. Bad design

The bottle is thick and the lid is heavy and made well. We use our honey bottle daily and it holds up to the wear and tear of constant usage nicely. We would recommend this honey/syrup glass dispenser. I forgot to add that customer service is curteous, professional and quick to respond. Five stars!!

Love it. Went to a local restaurant that serves cornbread with honey on the side. Honey served in dripless container very similar to this one. Not a drop spilled on the container or table. Inspired me to search for something similar. This product works exactly the same, just a different shaped jar. The closing mechanism is tight and seals quickly, eliminating any drip. Not the cheapest you will find, but I finally found one that works! No drips on the counter or jar, honey without the mess - what beats that?

We have been pouring our Honey from the local Bee keepers quart jar. Always needingtriplets! finger to catch and lick the drip.No more.This is dripless!
