are the tablets all the same color that change once water is added to match the flavor of the drink or are they colored?

They are similar in color to the final drink (not exact) but they dissolve once added to the water. Lemon is yellow, cola is dark, grape is purple, just like you would expect. All are sugar free and larger than the tablets I remember as a kid, but those were sugared. The sugared version is not available anywhere I can find.

what are the ingredients in Fizzies Candy drink tablets ?

Having some right here, I`m reading off the box:Citric Acid, Sorbitol, Potassium Bicarbonate, Ascorbic Acid, Potassium Carbonate, Sodium Carbonate, Acesulfame, Wheat Germ Oil, Sucrolose, Magnesium Oxide, ...and several food colorings I`m now too tired to type! Guess these are not gluten free...so glad I don`t drink them, but the kids love them!

Carbon dioxide, just like soda pop.

Probably about one minute, but don't expect a result like Alka-Seltzer or carbonated pop in a bottle or can. I found this a weak substitute and did not bother buying it again.
