This little gadget is fantastic for mirroring my iPhone to my TV. I use it primarily when on holiday to watch TV, movies and sport on my television screen rather than on my small iPhone screen.Read the instructions carefully and follow them correctly and setup shouldn't be a problem.

Wanted to try out screen mirroring as the Firestick doesn't allow it. I was fairly surprised at the ability of this gadget to hold the stream without any drops in the picture, even when playing across HD streams. Works great with the laptop too so can use it to project images across to the big screen when required in a meeting.Hope this helps.

Works as advertised, it mirrors what is on my phone or computer screen. I'm using it with Airplay on my MacBook. Once the tv is on It's only takes seconds to appear on tv whats on my screen too. Perfect when we are watching a movie played from my mac but i can still work on the computer on the same time. Works with 2.4 Ghz WiFi.

I've recently given up my TiVo subscription and wanted (mainly) to watch channels on catch-up. This took missions (and I mean hours) to work out it just would not set up on my living room smart TV and was about to send back before trying out on my much older, bedroom TV where it then setup in minutes!Does what it needs to do, although in fairness, I also have a Roku stick in the bedroom TV, so not much difference in that I can already get BBC iPlayer and itv hub etc, and you will need some form of usb connection very close to your TV - the power cable isn't very long at all. Fortunately I have two usb sockets built into my TV, even though the hub says it requires more power? Seems to work fine but how much use it will get, I'm not sure...

This was the biggest WASTE of money. The product is so confusing to set up, the instructions may as well have been in Swahili.Once I managed to set this up (hours later) I could only get audio and no video.The next day I decided to give it another go and the device does not even turn on or work anymore.Do not waste your time, money and anger on this product, get the real chromecast.

Thought I would give this a go as I was looking for an easier way of watching Sky Go (from my iPhone) without having to cable my laptop up to the TV. Upon opening the product, all looked well packaged and good quality. However, once you figure out the steps to run through the set up, you soon realise the product just doesn't do what it is meant to. The first thing I would question is why the default setting is mirror only rather than mirror and stream (for casting); meaning you have to mess about in the settings and reboot to cast (unsuccessfully). Whilst the product description images on Amazon clearly display Sky Go support, this simply is not true. Upon trying, I received an output error. It is a similar story for Netflix and Prime Video also, neither of which work and report output not supported errors. Youtube, upon first attempt wouldn't load. After reducing the resolution and rebooting, it did work but the quality was unwatchable... Poor performance and jumpy video. Overall, I cannot not recommend this product.

i just did bought this dongle and installed it with my tv ,the problems i am facing are that to mirror from laptopto watch from youtube it will keep stucking and while try to watch a movie from netflix the trailers will see them good even sound and when try to see the movie will comes the sound with a black picture .and the other problem is regarding mirror from my mobile phone will connect true app with cromecast dongle and from than onwords the mobile will stuck i will have to restart the mobile again to become working normal again
