Outgo Ultra-Compact Microfiber Towel

Ok, so I bought a large size from another store and then found the medium size here on Amazon, so I am going to compare the two a little bit. First of all, they are both very light weight very absorbent despite being extremely thin. There is a huge difference between the size of the large and the medium (700 square inches to be exact). When you lay them side by side, the difference is even more glaring. I am 5' 8" and weigh 170 lbs, so not a big guy. It took every square inch of the medium size towel to get me dry after a shower. It worked, but only just barely. If you are a bigger person, or if you have a lot of hair (ladies), you are definitely going to want to go with the large. I would say that the medium is much better suited for children. For those of you thinking about using the medium as a hand towel, it is still a little too big for that, unless what you want is a really large hand towel.I soaked both towels and hung them to dry outside in the sun. Drying time in direct sunlight at 75 degrees Fahrenheit with a soft breeze was only about 6 or 7 minutes. Please understand, your results will vary greatly based on humidity, temperature and airflow.Both towels pack away neatly into their carry bags. I purchased these towels for lightweight backpacking and I use the second pocket on the carry bag for my toiletries, making a neat, convenient little package. The hanging handle on the bag makes it really convenient to hang on, say, a hook while you are in a bathroom. The loop on both the towel and the bag has a snap at one end that you can undo to wrap the loop around something. This is nice if you don't have a hook, but rather a bar or a rail to hang your stuff on.Overall, these towels are great for something lightweight to pack away in your bag. I carry the large when I go backpacking (the difference in weight between the LG and the MD is negligible, and I would rather have more towel than less) and I carry the medium in my day pack for sightseeing and other activities. I only have one complaint; when I washed them (following the directions of cold water and tumble dry on low heat) they both shrank in length (but not width) by an inch. So, the medium is now 20" x 39" and the large is 30" x 49". No big deal, but a little disappointing. If you don't want yours to shrink, then air dry them.

I bought the medium size, and I wish I had bought the large size because it's a little too small for me. I'm 5'10", and I always feel that the towel is all wet after my shower.

I bought the XL version for my upcoming year long backpacking trip and decided to test it thoroughly. I have been using the towel now for 4 months as my daily towel, and love it. It is super absorbing, and dries very quickly. When I come home from work and take a shower, then go for a gym session, the towel is basically dry when I have my second shower after gym. The lightweight and fast drying also means that I can wash it with my other clothes and throw it into the dryer without needing to add extra dry time as with a normal thick towel. This towel also dries you off quicker. It is also handyas a lightweight blanket and a travel cussion on airports.Even the XL packs away very small, especially if you put it in a vacume bag. Best microfiber towel i have bought.

Most things I buy are for camping as I like to just get away. I saw these and looked up many reviews on the internet from different sites. I decided these seemed like the perfect towels for me and I found them for $12 each(I bought two). They exceeded my expectations as I tried them at home. I washed them and they hardly shrunk and then I tried them after a shower at my house. They absorb the water quickly and then dry quick. Great addition to my camping equipment.
