I needed another headset like I needed a hole in the head. I wasn’t 100% sure they’d work with my PS5 so I bought these on a whim simply cause I’m a sucker for rose gold.As much as I loved the headset that’s marketed for the PS5, I couldn’t wear it for more than an hour without pain right behind my ears. I’ve worn these for up to 8 hours at a time without any pain at all. For me a charge lasts about 5-6 hours. I bought a 6 ft rose gold charging cord for them so when they start to beep (always in the middle of a match, of course) I just plug them in and keep going; don’t even have to take them off.The sound quality is great, and I know they’re not marketed as noise cancelling but I find it very hard to hear anything going on around me when they’re on. The buttons and switches are pretty intuitive and I LOVE the mute function. If you mute them on COD it acts like you don’t have a mic at all, which is odd, but it’s great to be able to listen to the conversation without everyone hearing you take a quick bathroom break between matches.Range is pretty decent. I have a small townhouse but I can go upstairs to drop off laundry and not lose connection. I’ve had a few occasions where I was using the mic in my controller but was having a hard time hearing chat because the speakers on the controller are so quiet so I switched on my headset and everyone said I wasn’t as clear as I was on the controller. Apparently the mic may not be A+++ quality. Go figure. Since it doesn’t effect what I hear and no one has trouble hearing or understanding me I don’t see any issues.I don’t use them on my PS4 very often but I’ve never had an issue with them on that system either. Overall I love them and would recommend.

I had a 5 hour game session with voice chat on overwatch and it was great. The battery last long so far and it charges while it is on for you to use while playing AND it play while charging, turned off, and plugged into the aux.I came from buying the level 5 headset from Walmart and decided to upgrade to these babies. For what it’s worth, the sounds are more vivid and clearer (you can hear footsteps more precisely) and the bass is very great for music.My only complaint(s) are:(1) I wish the cushions were a bit more softer but in the long run I’m sure the material makes it last longer and more importantly (I broke the headphones in and the cushions are more comfortable after wearing them).(2) I wish it was Bluetooth compatible with IOS. It comes with an aux so it some what makes up for it and why I’m still giving it 5 stars. I’m in college and my MacBook/library is my life so I listen to my music on there and luckily there’s a headphone jack still in it so I can still enjoy this awesome headset.

Another update: mic doesn't work at all. I've trouble shooted and searched everything you can think of to fix the issue. Nothing worked. I use the headset solely to hear better. But I do not recommend this product.I love the color, it matches my controller, the sound quality is amazing. The buttons are awkward to get used to at first since they're all on one side of the ear piece. They fit comfortably and the charge for me, it depends on how often you play, is anywhere from 1-2 weeks on one charge. I love my headset.Update: I've had this headset for about 2 months and now it sometimes works and sometimes does not. My friends report that my mic breaks up, they hear themselves echo, and that they can't hear me even though all the levels are high. I have reset the headset via buttons and hitting the reset button on the usb, blowing air into the usb itself and the port, restarting my headset, resetting the mic to default, and nothing seems to work. I can hear everything and everyone just fine, they just cant hear me. Its irritating. I know since its wifi connected that's a variable, but I rest my wifi connection each time and it says its strong. I'm just not meant to have a headset. I wish i could return.

I bought this a couple of years ago, the sound quality is neat and I had basically no issues at all while gaming. They get a bit uncomfortable in your ears after a few hours wearing them though. The downside to this headset is that after about a year or so, the pink coverage around the sponges started to come apart and once it started it never stopped. They peeled awfully.

So I rarely bother to write reviews and I'm a hard core gamer, I've used these headphones for the past 2 or 3 years now, I've used them not only for playing games, I've hooked them up to my amps to play my guitar via the aux pplugin, I've made hip hop beats, literally used them to mix and master a full length EDM album, I work 4 days on and 4 days off, I live in an apartment complex and I use them to do everything, they literally make me a better neighbor and here's the kicker, I bought mine used. These are the highest quality headphones I've ever owned and ever used for anything. They give the most realistic sound quality too, take it from a musician.

Firstly I would like to say I have been a gold headset user since series 1. That headset has lasted me years and is still functioning after some rough and tumble time, but it was never perfect.This new gold series has addressed all my issues with the first seriesThe audio quality is fantastic and the customization is great as usual.But this set no longer collapses for transport, taking out the not so great hinge points that were bulky and not sturdy enough.Additionally the headset is lighter and the band is less wide, making for a more comfortable fit for a glasses wearing person like myself.As a household that uses both gold and turtle beach headsets, these are the clear winner for us in comfort and quality.Treat yourself to a great headset .
