Excellent product
The unusual design of this shelter means that it gives shade for two prone adults whilst allowing a breeze to blow through, unlike beach shelters which are like small tents. I'd advise practicing putting it up before you take it to a beach. The first time took us about half and hour and provided much mirth to other people on the beach; the second time about ten minutes but it was inside out; and the third and subsequent times around five minutes. We used the side pockets as sand bags on a windy day and it stayed put. You need to bang the tent pegs right down or they pull out (look around the beach for a handy rock, or take a mallet!) Overall, very pleased, well made, should last years and is very effective.

Great product, some inferior materials
Overall I'm satisfied with this product, after first seeing this product last year during my summer holiday I returned to the UK & did further research on the Terra Nation range of products. During it's first outing on this years summer holiday I was disappointed only after it's first use to find elements of the materials used in building the tent (pole one) wear out after a single use. As such the tent has already lost it's shape & the pole become obsolete preventing a seamless join. Not ideal for a product that is greatly reviewed or argued to be one of the best products on the market.

Trendy design, looks fantastic! Much nicer than any of the other beach tents we saw, and every family seemed to have one. Love how you use the sand to weigh the sides down

Excellent design which gives shade all day long but allows for ventilation
Although tricky to set up to start with once you have done it once it is straightforward. Highly recommended for being able to stay out of the sun but still enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Absolutely fantastic beach tent
Absolutely fantastic beach tent. Tough and long lasting. Provides a huge amount of shelter from the sun without blocking the breeze. This is our second one as we have left the first one at our holiday home for visitors. We never go away without it. Not too difficult to put up either.

gives shade but is very low and not really practical. ok to lie under but useless with kids. a traditional beach umbrella with sand anchor is miles better.

Fantastic piece of kit
Fantastic piece of kit! Just returned from holiday and several people stopped to ask where they could get one from. Well made and easy to assemble, fitted easily into my husband’s suitcase 😉
