I have two of these spreaders. I use one to spread fertilizer in a small yard where a broadcast spreader would hurt perennial beds. The other is used for spreading ice melting products on steps and sidewalks. Very useful and reliable product!

I only use the product to put out ant bait so even when it is full it is very light and easy to use. My wife does not use it because it is too big and heavy even with just ant bait. I also like the 4 different sizes of openings.

I use it for repairs bare spots in lawn. It is lightweight and easy to use

It's a bit clunky to open and close until you get used to it. But it works perfect for the parts of the yard that I can't reach with the roller. We will buy another so we can take on 2 parts of the yard at the same time.

I like that this is big enough to hold a good quality of fertilizer easy to fill the container and easy to spread the fertilizer when you have small areas to do this works very well.

It serves its purpose well but for me personally it had a few design flaws. The handle is part of the lid. Be sure to put a sticker on the container where you want to place the handle when you go to close it. Close and open it a few times to get the hang of it before taking it out to the field. I am glad I did and it made the job a breeze so I guess I would order it again.
