"Delphi" is Genuine OE high quality! Not sure. why.? - So many bad reviews. Possibly USED returns.. Or / other un validated component/s, wiring faults! It is amazing what many DIShonest people do. Claiming unused... Reality return OLD failed parts in the new box. Witnessed many in my parts store day's.. Delphi actually makes most of the components for GM aka ACdelco. I always purchase Delphi components multi years. Fantastic price to performance ratio. I have never experianced a bad Delphi product. Just like this ICM. perfect replacement. Removed the FAILED original ACdelco. The Delphi allowed this 454 to fire-up, run smooth with a very good response. Simply works as designed! Happy parts replacement. I always recommend Delphi.

Works on much more than intended, swapped this into a old toyota pickup with a 22r. Thing runs better than new.

Works great, replaced the unknown ignition module that failed on me. Was a bit cheaper than the AC Delco part, hopefully the $10 saved will be worth it in the long run. Will update this review if it doesn't pan out long term.

It looks like a quality part better than what came in my distributor. This one is a spare do you keep in the glove box so I don’t become an involuntary pedestrian.

Fit and worked fine in my '78 Chevy truck.

I bought these mainly to avoid buying "no name" replacements for my homebrew distributor machine project. The units function perfectly and have been very reliable. I'm satisfied and can recommend buying these units if you have the need to have a spare or replace a dead unit.
