I’ve only been using it for about a week once a day and have already noticed my acne scars diminishing and my pores shrinking. My skin looks and feels firmer! It has also helped to reduce the oil on my face fairly quickly! My favorite combination is 10 min of Red, 10 min of Green, 5 min of Yellow, and 5 min of Purple! The only down side to this is how heavy the mask is on your face. It puts a lot of pressure on the top of your nose and the stands included don’t help much. My advice is to use a long flat pillow and curl both ends up so that your head rests between them. This way the pillow holds the mask for you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The stands are cheap and the design is poor and mine are now broken- see pics *by C***A on May 5, 2018* Mask seems to work, however it is heavy and you must lie down. This is ok but the mask is still too heavy so the manufacturer provided some plastic stands that attach to the sides of the mask. These stand attempt to hold the some (but not all) of the weight off your face. The stands are cheap and the design is poor and mine are now broken- see pics. The company should have designed the mask with pads that keep it comfortably off your face. Update, The company sent me new set of stands that will hopefully last longer than the old set. I'm adding a star to 4 stars due to good customer service, but leaving off one star due to design. I will attempt to fashion some small foam pads to keep the mask off my face, when the stands break in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Undecided, but there’s potential :) *by J***. on April 22, 2019* I am in my mid forties and at this point in life have a lot of scars on my face. I have discoloration from years of enjoying the sun and from the hormonal changes that come from having children :). I do have wrinkles but I’ve earned them. I also recently had skin cancer and care more about trying to improve my health than looking better. There are a lot of treatments out there, but not all of them seem like healthy alternatives. Light therapy is proven to have beneficial and healthy results so really the review is about how this device delivers that. I ordered 3 different devices from amazon. All 3 of them had English instructions that are still tricky to understand due to what I think are translation errors. That being said, it’s not rocket science figuring them out a bit. This face mask is the best of the 3 that I tried. The dermapeel photon device was twice the price and did not seem to be twice the quality at all. The other device I tried was on a stand but it was so top heavy it didn’t stay up & was just a pain. This mask look a bit weird and is much too large for my face, but I get that it’s “one size fits all”. The straps are adjustable, but the adjustments aren’t that helpful since the top strap is just way too big for my head :). I still think the mask is a better option because there’s nothing flashing in your eyes at all! It’s also very nice that it’s charged by usb & you don’t have o lay down by an outlet. It could possibly be hands free & allow you to do other things while your wearing it. I thought mine stopped working but I tried it a 2nd time & realized the usb cord doesn’t fit tight & it falls out, shutting it off a few min after it starts. I wasn’t moving around, so it could just be that mine needs a different chord. I’m going to see if they can send me a new chord because I do think this could be the best choice for me if it worked like it’s supposed to. The mask seems heavy if your lying down, but I think if I can use it sitting up & not worry about the chord coming out it won’t be a problem.
