My 12 year old daughter isn't invited to many things, especially a sleepover birthday party. Kids don't seem to have parties like when i was younger and parents are very hesitant to have sleepovers or allow their kids to attend one. I don't know how many kid's have slept here and there parents tell me its the first time they have ever slept anywheres besides home. This shocks me, but i never say no when my daughter asks to have a friend over or gets a invite. I always try to make the experience one that will be memorable both ways.My daughter doesn't have many long term friends, they really seem to switch frequently and i think covid had a major impact on this. So when my daughter came home excited that her long time school friend-in 4years of being in band together, playing the same instrument and one person ive never heard drama or a issue about, asked for the first time if she could sleep over for her birthday i said of course...wheres the invitation and information. The date my daughter said grew closer and closer with nothing given to her to confirm this small party and than a sleepover. Finally an invitation came home, i was feeling sick and just went by the date and time my daughter said. Mistake!!! My daughter has a learning disability that she reverses numbers often and also letters. She's a top student, but has school modifications to help her, i thought i had another week to get a gift, especially since the upcoming weekend was father's day and id never think the sleepover would be than.. i finally looked at the invitation on the refrigerator assuming i had to RSVP when i realized my daughter switched the date with The time. Giving me less than 48 hours to get a birthday gift for a friend thats was one of a few that my daughter talked highly of, the girls first party and first time having anyone sleepover, i told my daughter to look quickly at Amazon, for something her friend would really like and would use long term to have memories of her many first experiences that were to happen. My daughter being a avid amazon shopper lol knew to check the item was prime and that it could be delivered in time for the party. I don't drive so rely greatly on Amazon and the dates of delivery and have to be confident things will be delivered by that scheduled time in great condition. My daughter knew her friend loves cats and a pillow like squishy stuffed animal would be perfect for a sleepover and something her friend could use in many ways. To hold or lay on this soft material would be ideal for lasting memory of her first sleepover. Sounded perfect!! I quickly ordered it, it came the next day and my daughter hurry up to open the package. She was surprised with the quality for the low price and i asked her if she was sure that was the only thing she wanted to give .. she said yes. Forgetting i didn't have birthday wrapping paper I told my daughter could try and find a family member that had some or if they could stop at a small store to grab some. My daughter said no she had it covered. She went into our cellar, found a Christmas box with white tissue paper...a few minutes later she came out ready to leave for the party. She wrapped the cat pillow as if the tissue paper was a pillow case over a regular pillow, i was rather impressed, along with a home made card. Her friends mom texted me several times that night with updates, as i think she was more nervous about things going good than the kids were. She spoke highly of my daughters helpfulness and loved the present. Since than the two girls have been rotating spending time at each other's house, her friend always bringing her now favorite item for bed. Her cat pillow...and her mother(actually step mother) has had great conversations with me and suggested the two girls try the same activities and clubs at school, since they get along so well and my daughter and her gift made such a positive impression. Playing the same instrument and the school allowing them both to move up and join the senior band, is allowing them to form a friendship that will hopefully last a lifetime. If it wasn't for Amazons fast reliable delivery service, my daughter wouldn't of been able to get this perfect gift in time, which could of changed the course of so many things to follow. Her friend Loves the pillow, i highly recommend getting one for any occasion, and it might not be the more expensive brand, but you would never know because of the high quality of it. Perfect last minute gift, that seemed as if it would cost much more. A gift that will keep giving as the gift of friendship is priceless! I just have to remember to ask what she named her new cat!!!

This item is a very beautiful gift but much smaller than expected!

This came as expected. It looks as pictured and was the expected size. It is soft and my daughter loves to use it as a pillow or just something to cuddle with.

It is very soft but it could be stuffed a bit more. I wouldnt buy it again even though it is cute.

Bought this for my niece as a Christmas present. She was over the moon. Good size and super soft/squishy.

Size wasn’t up to expectations a little expensive.

ordered for my daughter. Arrived before Christmas. Shows up vacuum packed so puffs up when you open it. Was still pretty flat and wrinkled so I threw it in the dryer for about 20 minutes. Puffed up perfectly and took away the packaging smell. Our daughter loved it!!
