Reloading Chamfer Deburr Hand Tool VLD

I’m new to the rifle side of reloading and I don’t have a full case prep station yet. I recently cut down some 223 brass to make some blackout rounds and realized I needed something to de-bur and chamfer the case before I size it. This little tool is perfect for accomplishing both of those tasks in quick time. Tool is solidly made come with a nice little case to store in after use. If you don’t have a motorized case station, this is a great alternative.

Am surprised the label says Made in Canada.It works well with hornady LnL primer tube.Pick up of primer needs effort, maybe the plastic tip is stiffer than the Hornady. Functioned as it should.

Machining is a little rough.

I full length resized these WIN 284 cases and trimmed the cases. After trimming the cases I cleaned off the rough edges with this tool and put a bevel on the inside of the case neck. This tool worked perfect. This tool is easy to use. This tool should work well on 222 REM and 223 REM all the way up to 45-70 cases. So far I have only used this tool on the WIN 284 case which is an American 7 mm bottle necked high power rifle case..... posted on 22 Sept 2022 by Jent.

i got this tool to put a small chamfer on the primer pockets on .45 acp brass. i was able to buy some federal large pistol match primers lately and if the primer pocket is not right some of the cups will be deformed. this tool has a lot steeper angle than most others so it is exactly what i needed. solved my problem
