Going Back the Way They Came: A History of the Phillips Georgia Legion Cavalry Battalion Hardcover – Illustrated, March 1, 2011

This book is actually a history of members of my family whom I didn't know existed until I discovered a plaque at Gettysburg National Battlefield telling of the participation in the 3rd day's battle. "Phillps Horde". It's excellently written and is a great read for anyone who enjoys America History. I highly recommend it.

I loved this book. Meant even more because I am from GA where most of these me came. I see their graves by the 100's. I have photographed them. I cannot say enough about I much I liked this book.

My family history in print. List of individuals most interesting. Georgia natives must read this part of our state's heritage.

Excellantly written. Very well researched. A good read even for those not usually drawn to nonfiction of the Civil War.

Interesting and informative,a more personal piece of Civil War journalism.
