Manual is basically impossible underwater as the wheel to change settings is very difficult to turn. I usually end up just point and spray, hoping that I got the target in focus. For the most part it works pretty well, but not ideal. It's definitely a budget waterhousing, but it does the job.

Fits perfectly, is waterproof in a pool (dive rated to 3 feet!!), HOWEVER…this came with a clear back and a black front. This is a small thing in a way, but it makes it harder to see some of the bottons on the camera (if you don't have them memorized). It also doesn't look as cool. But it works. And is a solid piece of plastic with a spare O ring and lube. Nicely done for an offbrand unit.

Watertight down to 100feet with no problems yet. I've taken this thing to Palau on 4 scuba trips. I live on Guam, spearfish, dive, or snorkel 2-3 times weekly and never had a problem with the housing. 4 stars instead of 5 because using the buttons that spin on the Nex C3 can be tricky or just plain not work for some reason while wearing gloves on a wreck dive down 80 feet. Otherwise , keep the rubber ring oiled and youll get zero problems.

I looked for an underwater case for a long time and found this one. I used it on my recent trip to Miami and Key West. Brought it to the beach and took it underwater and in the waves. It stood up very well and did not leak. The controls were also easy to use while the case is on. One thing to note: I did initially put the camera in the case with the UV lens filter on and some controls stuck on the back of the camera. So make sure you just put the camera body and original lens with no extra lens covers on so the controls will work easily. I debated about which case to buy for the 16mm lens or the 18-55mm zoom lens. I went with the 16mm lens since there is digital zoom on the camera with that lens. This case is also great protection in the rain, especially in tropical rain where it rains hard. On the beach it protects from sand too. Great photos and video can be taken with this case underwater. Even with the case on, the sound on the video records effectively. I highly recommend this underwater case!

Product itself looks great. I took a risk to see if the newest Sony pancake lens from Sony would fit this case as the new lens is superior in many ways. Sadly, the new lense is a fraction too long, which makes it impossible to close the case, no matter how much pressure applied.

The first unit leaked. One of the buttons was broken. I returned it and got another. It held up just fine in the ocean in Maui. Just remember to submerge it to see if it leaks before you put your camera in it.

Used it for 2 weeks, including two scuba dives to 18 meters. My cam survived, thats's great.Controls are good. Got a fog on lens screen couple of times. Fitting of flash filter isn't very secure, it goes off quite often and then it's a pain to put it back. But otherwise I'm happy with it so far.

I've have been using the underwater housing for my nex 3 for the first time in the pool , and it is just : wow !it is amazing !Clear view, easy access to the controls, no leaks, it has some plus like a large orange strap , and a little one in case you don't want the large one!It also comes with oil lub and extra o ring!the price is right, because I was searching in google and other housings are so expensive, and I was a little afraid that this one will be of poor quality but I took the risk , and I'm happy for that!So it is my duty to recommend it !PS : I can't wait to buy the one that comes for 55 mm lens, but until now it is not available in amazon.com

Brilliant product.Record button does not reach the camera button, however, if you remove the rubber contact point and turn the point around then it works fine. Yet to use it, but have a 3 week Maldives holiday to give it a good run out...I will return with a full review

Excellent for the price, particularly in comparison to top end options costing 10x as much.Successfully used to 20m during diving (after a test dive without camera) and lots of snorkelling without any leaks.The only negative was that the down button - equivalent to pressing the bottom of the rear wheel - became stuck below 10m making using more involved shooting modes difficult. All other buttons worked fine.

Excellent case, completely airtight and water proof as suggested. I had looked online previously for cases and found most retail for over £300-£400+ so I was dubious about this one given how cheap it is. I was happily proved wrong.

We used this to while snorkelling in Iceland and managed to capture some stunning videos and photos. The Camera floats when it's inside this case, which make it safer.
