Fits, but a bit tight
It fits, but it does take some effort to actually latch it. I'll accept that as I'm pretty sure that means it is getting a good seal.

Works well, so far
I bought this to put on an old Hero 5 that didn't have the door when I bought it. It fits well, and I'm not having any issues so far. I use my GoPro mounted to my motorcycle helmet; I don't need it to be 100% waterproof and I'm not going to submerge it in water, so I can't speak to that. However, I have been caught in rain on my motorcycle and I had no issues.

Broke the old window cover
This one is almost an exact copy. Happy with the purchase

It fit, and survived snorkeling
It fit well, it held the water out when I went snorkeling, the finish was a little more glossy than the actual camera (that doesn't bother me). Would recommend.

Doesn't Fit 7 Black
I should have read other reviews, doesn't fit my 7 black. The door closes and passed a quick dunk test so it has that going for it. However, the door sticks out in practically every direction (is not flush anywhere), which makes fitting it into cases difficult, the first time I tried latching the door it took a lot of force to get it to close, the latch button doesn't work so the door is never locked close, and it also takes a lot of force to open the door. The cover doesn't have the same finish, which is to be expected.

This door does not work like the OEM door, you can easily open it by sliding your finger nail in the top crease, the release button does not work. I am worried to my GoPro Hero 7 Black in water because of the door quality

Very poor fit. Door will not close.
Complete waste of time. It almost works, it almost fits, you can almost close the door but it does not fit well enough to be of any use.

Does not open
Put in on simple enough, was a tight fit now I can’t take it off

Doesn't really fit.
Once on this does not come off. When putting it on I got the impression it almost fit but not quite. I should have stopped.Good thing I don't use the USB ports in the hero5.I would not purchase again, I'd get the genuine one.

Its great.. but keep track of it.. its easy to lose.
