Great Brilliant Green line
Price versus the original alternative is incomparable.Just retrofit it to your existing application.Light , Very Affordable and uses a simple USB-C power source.

First order was DOA, 2nd is good
The first order came in, box looks unopened. Power supply switch is ok, USB cable is ok but unit won't turn on. Returned the unit, got ordered another one and the 2nd unit is ok. Bring green, thicker than the huepar, visible outdoor. Don't know how long it'll hold up.

Out of focus close up
This seems very well made, and makes a great line on a wall or something a long way away. Would be great for a lot of things. However, if you want to mount it just a few inches away from what you're measuring, it's a bit too bright and is out of focus at that range. While the original listing did say it was 2mm at a meter or something like that, it did not state that it would be 3/16 or so at 5 inches, which is about what it is. It may still work for what I want, and it seems very high quality, it wasn't what I was wishing for or completely expecting. The hole in the picture is 3/8" for scale.

This is a well-made product. The problem was if you attempted to use it in anything but a dark room, the beams washed out. In an industrial environment where proper lighting is required for safety, this unit just doesn't project a strong enough beam to be accurately viewed.

Dust ruins the line
Dust gets inside and turns the line into a green blur. It's made rogether so you can't clean it. Not sawmill grade.

Sturdy built
We use is for our Truss shop saw works great

Worked for an hour.
Nice bright light for about an hour of use so dim now it is useable.
