Works great when it stays attached to the monopod
The stabilizer works great - provides me with a solid platform to shoot from. The only issue is that it comes loose from the base of the monopod. Not good. Will try some Loctite. Fingers crossed.UPDATE: The Loctite worked! The stabilizer stays attached to the monopod!

Stable, great as a ground tripod!
I actually use this as a table top or ground tripod. For landscape it gets you a nice low angle, or can be placed on or over a stone wall to get you a vantage point you might not otherwise achieve. I also use it with a full gimbal head as a ground tripod with a sony full frame mirrorless and a 200-600mm lens, it works great this way as it has a nice compact footprint, and with a properly balanced gimbal is stable enough. I wouldn't want to kick it accidentally in this scenario but it is plenty strong. My only gripe is that sometimes you need to remember to tighten the collar to prevent the built in 'ball' from pivoting. Not a big deal, but you can't really get it right without something attached to provide leverage.

Love it
I’ve been using it for my smaller cameras and works grate, but I won’t trust it with any cameras in the mid to large size

Works great with my carbon fiber monopod
Works great, adding steadiness to my carbon fiber monopod, but it also adds significant weight and bulk.

It's heavy
I didn't like the design of the connection and the joint that allows/restricts rotation and angle of the monopod. I returned it and selected another, which is lighter.

It’s a 3 legged thing!!
Hey we all know that 3 legged makes quality products, this is no exception. I like how it has a 1/4 by 20 on it so I can swap it off my monopod and use it as a mini tripod for my heavy Canon 5D it’s really versatile so just buy it.

Solid tripod
Ideal for use with Labradar. Solid steady footing. Labradar mounts with zero vibration when using. Highly recommend.

Top end well engineered bit of kit
Combined this with the Trent monopod and it works well. Foot is stable and can be used with a head straight onto the foot for a low level camera stand. With the monopod I liked a number of features. Firstly fold the legs up and it is more of a genuine monopod should you want total mobility. Secondly unscrew the ball retainer and the foot and monopod give you around 30degrees of movement each way but with a much more stable base. With a small weight camera the monopod and foot combo are almost stable enough to dispense with the tripod if you don't want the weight. Folds up compact and as a quick simple short monopod you can also attach the centre section of your tripod. Nicely made item - precision engineering and lovely feel

Sharper images at slower shutter speeds
I use the foot for bird photography and also Macro shots. Due to its adjustable foot I can position my monopod exactly in the right position. I find I am able to use much slower shutter speeds. lower iso to produce sharp images. Highly recommend the 3 Legged Thing monopod foot. John

Excellent build quality, you will not be disappointed!
Ideal for getting low down shots just wish the ball joint had a knurled grip! Build quality is sturdy and fits easily in camera bag. For me an essential piece of equipment.

Ideal instead of carrying a tripod
Although only used once at the moment, I found it really good, although being on uneven ground I found it best to put my foot on on one of the feet just to stabilise it further. Easy to carry in camera bag and of course much lighter than a full tripod.
