Perfect, simple
Install in the center with 2 springs on either side and you can do double stop bends without de-tuning, while you can still use vibrato and also rest your hand on the bridge while playing. Two-way vibratos without any locking mechanisms were always a silly idea, but I think having this metal contact point increases resonance more so than if my guitar were already built for dive-only (as a Fender is). To dampen the noise of contact, you can put a piece of gaffer tape on the block. To silence the spring reverb, a piece of foam or finishing pad over the springs with the cover on works. There are all kinds of overpriced products for these tasks, but you can do it best with a piece of something laying around your house, plus this device for 15 dollars. It's still like 4x overpriced but not having to go out shopping and searching through the hardware aisle is worth a few dollars. The grub screw would be much better with a hex head to grab instead of an allen socket, to make it much easier to block and un-block if you want to switch like that.

Great product and fast delivery even during COVID-19!
Great product and fast delivery even during COVID-19! I was looking for an affordable trem stopper to use with my EVH D-Tuna I wanted to install on my Jackson JS32 with a floating Floyd Rose and this was the perfect solution. It’s well made and I like that it had two holes instead of the slot opening like the official Floyd Rose stopper. It was easier to install and I feel like it sets in and holds better. Ive been using it for a little over a week and it’s working great! I will note that there are no instructions, but if you are buying one of these, you probably know what to do. It’s pretty self explanatory.

Effective, simple solution to an irritating problem
This little guy is a godsend. After years of playing Floyds (and with far less time to play guitar than I used to have) I am officially and certifiably finished being a slave to full float trem systems. I do a lot of string bends, which wreak havoc on the pull of the base plate. I never pull up on the bar, so I finally decided to block the Original Floyd Rose trem on my Jackson PC-1 and be done with it.This device is as simple as can be - looking at the pics should verify that. I have heard bad things about the longevity and reliability of the Tremol-no solution, but this device is simpler and no nonsense.I have 2 complaints. The first is it requires drilling into your guitar, which is a hard pill to swallow for a guitar with the price tag of a PC-1, but it's the only way this product works, so perhaps calling it a complaint is unfair; it's the price of admission. The second is the allen screw that comes with it seems flimsy. I spent a few bucks on a handful of better quality allen screws (which is why my pic of the device looks a bit different). If you are interested, the size of the screw is M4 x .70 thread, 20mm.This little guy works great and I finally have the stability that allows me to enjoy all my time playing and not fidgeting with the trem - heavy string bends and dive bombing. WORD OF WARNING: make sure your trem block is long enough to rest against the screw. Some blocks are recessed so much the screw goes right over it. My block had *just* enough length to catch the screw.

It's worth it.
I have an expensive system and I have 4 of these. They get the job done but there are a couple quirks. First thing you will want to do is sand the screw tip then dip in candle wax because the ticking will drive you insane. You will also want to get a a screw 1/4" longer for softer wood bodies like Basswood. Don't know why they give you such small screws. I used cabinet screws. They have a good bite. That's it. It's a great and affordable solution for people who live their Floyd's but don't care to pull up.By using the wax on the screw I can leave an 1/8 " of pull up play just for some flavor and lite flutter and not knock anything out of tune.

Great for stabilizing a trem.
Easy to install and adjust, seems to be fairly well made. I've used many of the actual floyd rose brand stoppers and these are both cheaper and better quality.

Not for all guitars
One thing to keep in mind is the mounting area must be completely flat. My guitar has a slight recessed area by the Tremolo Block and this would not mount and work with my guitar. Also this project is noticeably smaller than you might think. I'm sure it probably works otherwise. I gave it a three just as a neutral rating since I could not actually mount it and test it out.

Works well
Works well, smaller than other options which is helpful to fit between springs. In my experience this works better than the official Floyd rose version because of the nut that holds the set distance in place. I had to add a nut to the Floyd version to equal the stability of this piece.

Simple and Effective
Works great. Just remove the middle trem spring, and drill the two screws into the spring cavity to secure the L shaped piece. Thread the Allen screw into the L shaped piece to set the tremolo's position (bridge plate parallel to the body). After that, just screw down your remaining trem springs a bit to make sure the tremolo doesn't 'rise' every time you bend. After installation, the guitar feels as solid as my tune-o-matic bridge guitars. Also - Make sure that your bridge's block is tall enough so that the screw will hit it. On one of my guitars, the bridge block is too short, and the screw passes right over it (had to use this on a different guitar because of this).
