SRAM X01 Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit - Rear Derailleur, Battery, Eagle AXS Controller w/ Clamp, Charger/Cord

Is an awesome detailer and amazing battery life which is what worried me to start with but I've been using this about a month and have yet to have to recharge the battery in the derailer, they say 20 hours but that's got to be 20 hours of continuous shifting bc I've almost ridden 200 miles mixing heavy mtb trails and some road miles with the ms. Flawless shifting almost completely setup out of the box and never have to worry about it again

Great upgrade to my mountain bike. Drastically improved the shifting, especially under pedal load. Highly recommend.

I have Eagle xx1, Shimano XT, and X01 AXS (Shift lever and rear derailleur, all are used with Hope EVO crank and chainring)I use Shimano first, then XX1, then X01 AXSShimano makes a better shift lever, the finger position for the shift lever are more "reasonable" than SRAM XX1.For the rear derailleur, SRAM does a better job on the cable clam and it comes with a Stop button for the derailleur cage. The cable clam of Derailleur of Shimano is a nightmare. And it is not like SRAM, which comes with a stop button for the derailleur cage and that's super useful (at least for me)I bought this X01 AXS because i want to get rid of the cables(as Di2 is not truly wireless and i prefer 1x12 rather than 2x11)Shift controller of my AXS is non-rocker paddle / normal version which is not bad and i get used to it quickly.(better than SRAM XX1, on par with shimano's)For the most important part of a rear derailleur (shift performance)Shimano is the best.both XX1 and X01 AXS are on the same level. (which I can't call bad, just not better than Shimano)It comes with 1 battery and chargerthe battery life is reasonable, but i suggest at least two batteries for the derailleur only (but if you got a rockshox reverb, then total 3-4 batteries seem more reasonable)

Simple and easy setup. I got this to reduce thumb fatigue, less cable mess and the love for electronics. Wish I did it sooner. Thumb soreness is gone and riding longer distances. So far 400 miles and even after a crash that bent the derailleur hanger I was able to micro adjust the shifts to finish the ride. The only suggestion is to get the new paddle. Feels more normal and further reduced thumb fatigue.

Once electronic... Always electronic.A quick observation... Because of the lack of cables... 1 bolt theft protection. Never ever leave your bike with these mounted unattended!
