SRAM XG-1299 XX1 Eagle Cassette 12-Speed

Awe inspiring - best words I can use when I opened the box. I was shocked at how big the cassette was and how little it weighed. The rainbow finish is amazing too - I'm not really into bling but it added quite the punch to my bike. Overall installing the AXS system I shaved nearly a full pound of my old X01 / GX Cassette . Having a sub 24 pound full suspension mountain bike that shifts like an F1 car is pretty freakin awesome !

They tell you that all Sram Eagle components are interchangeable. And it's true that they all work. I upgraded to the AXS derailleur several months ago and it shifts so much better than the X01 shifter that came with my Santa Cruz Blur. But the quality of shifting went way up when I put the right cassette on the bike - the rainbow. Fast shifting translates to more power down on the pedals. I was surprised that my daily 1000 foot climb was easily thirty seconds faster. Easily. This thing engages faster. No question. If you're looking for faster shifting with AXS, this is the cassette. Honestly I purchased this cassette for the bling, but was delighted by the performance. Another great upgrade is the oval chainring. I went from a 34 circular to a 36 oval. For those that don’t know, at the time of this review there is a huge supply chain issue in acquiring this product SRAM XX1 10-52T. Couldn’t find anywhere other than Australia and Ukraine and they are priced 50% higher. And then I found here. I was skeptical at first given supply issues but this is the real deal. Upgraded my 42T to this 52T, with a lighter technology. Put AXS derailleur and shifter and a new chain. Can’t say enough how much this has improved my range particularly on the uphill battles. I ride an IBIS Ripley LS and with this addition this bike now rocks. Thank you to the seller who could charge a premium because of supply issues but is not.

My old XX1 Cassette is 5 years old and still in great shape. Purchased the new one because of the smoking deal. I run a 32 chainring paired with the 11-50 gives me plenty gearing, even for the long steep climbs so the 52 wasn't considered. I'm not gentle with my shifting and I'm a masher. This cassette paired with the XX1 chain has proved to be indestructible. My rides are mostly on dry, sandy, rocky and root covered terrain which requires constant drivetrain maintenance for longevity. Average over 1300 miles of CC/moderate singletrack a year on the front range. Definitely a recommended product.

Obviously you get what you pay for and this cassette is pricey. Flawless shifting as expected

Gold cassette Looks great on my white gravel Bike plus the weight and shifting performance are great.

I purchased this as a replacement of a circa 2016 original component on a stock bike. Installation and tuning was seamless and the drivetrain worked flawlessly after mounting and tuning. I've been using it over a year in harsh conditions with no problems.

Als aller erstes muss ich sagen war der Versand der Hammer! Heute Mittag um 12:34uhr bestellt und es kam gerade um 20:30 Uhr an. Gefahren habe ich es noch nicht und auch noch nicht montiert aber der Look und die Verarbeitung sind wie man es von Sram kennt einfach mehr als optimal!
