The switch is not a router and cannot replace a router; but it can be used to expand the Ethernet connectivity of your home network. Q: Is this wall mountable?

The 8-port variant determinately is wall-mountable. There are slots on the underside that allow the switch to slide onto screw heads. This is typical for soho equipment. I have a cable modem, 3 routers, and this TP-Link 8-port switch wall-mounted in this manner.
