Must read for any martial artist
I really liked the way the book is structured and it has very good content. Still I felt it could be more and better in some sections. The wisdom in the book can be applied in any martial art.

The Simple Secrets to Sucess in Life.........
Like Tabata Sensei's last book Secret Tactics: Lessons from the Great Masters of Martial Arts this is turning out to be a very interesting & thought provoking book & as you'd expect full of Samurai wisdom. Written as a series of short quotations, if you ever wondered why you're training was not going as planned or starting to plateau, then you'll find all the answers in here. There are a few spelling & grammar mistakes but the profound nature of its content amply makes up for these shortfalls. A little like Sun-tzu's The Art of War this book is not meant just for martial artists but anyone looking to make a success of their life. Certainly a book to read more than once & keep close at hand so that you may delve into it at random. It reads almost like an answer book to an exam - you may not know what the questions are, but if you have one, you'll find it here. All you have to do is follow its edicts & gather up the courage to act upon it.Product Description;-At the earliest stages of learning a martial art, students almost exclusively study the physical techniques. It is only after much time and intensive practice that these techniques become automatic.Reaching the point of ingrained movements is a major step in mastering a martial art. Yet when the practitioner learns to become one with himself, the opponent and with nature itself, when the opponent's moves appear as if in slow motion, the practitioner moves without thought and becomes unbeatable. In Mind Power, Master Kazumi Tabata, Grand Master in the Shotokan and Shorinji styles of Karate, offers his personal teachings as to how martial arts students can reach the point where time seems to slow down, quick movements are seen in slow motion, and the full potential of one's inner power can be harnessed.
