Wax Papers

I LOVE these sheets! I use them in between every thing I freeze. We also use them to wrap sandwiches that always leak!

I have used these for making patties, but the papers are also good to use on a food scale when weighing moist items.

The paper is the perfect size for making hamburger patties for the freezer. I am sure you could use with other meat. Good paper, don’t stick. Will buy again.

Did it's job, only issue was with 75% meat. Paper didn't peel off as well

After seeing problems mentioned, I read many reviews on Amazon hoping to find patty paper that could be easily removed from frozen meat and then bought these. FAIL. These stick to frozen meat, partially thawed meat, and completely thawed meat. You either end up with paper bits on the patty or meat bits on the paper or both. One side does seem to have more wax and will remove more easily from the frozen patty if you time it just right (early in the thaw). I had a previous brand obtained from a friend that worked in a kitchen that could easily be peeled off a frozen burger immediately after removal from the freezer, so I know quality patty papers exist, but these are not them. Unfortunately, I tossed the box and lost the name of the functional brand. I will be throwing my box of 950+ sheets in the trash and going back to cutting up wax paper which, unbelievably, will save me time in the long run. Ugh.

I use the sheets with a Weston hamburger press. (See me review on Amazon for this product) They work perfectly. I place one sheet on the bottom of the press, the meat, and one sheet on top. No stick, no mess, no clean up. If you use a burger press get these wax sheets and make your life easier.Norm

When using these for the first time I had the unpleasant experience of all of the patty papers sticking to the homemade burgers I prepared after taking them out of the freezer. It was a serious pain to get the patties off of the papers.

Perhaps I just received a defective batch but these papers are worse than useless; they make a mess of my sausage and ground beef patties. They appear to have no wax coating. The paper gets soaked with moisture, causing the meat patty to stick to them. When i try to remove the paper, it tears the patty in half. See photos.Unfortunately, I did not need to use these until after the return date had passed.
