Amazing concept, overpriced
The media could not be loaded. I am an INTP with a very active mind. I also have peripheral neuropathy, which causes numbness in my limbs. I enjoy playing with fidgets while watching videos, as this helps me maintain my concentration. I have quite a few different fidgets. This is too small for me to use without attention, which is my preference generally for fidgets, but it is fidgetable and is easy to slip in my pocket when I go out.Whoever came up with the idea of this flippy chain was a genius. Look up "Four-dimensional space" on Wikipedia, this fidget "APPEARS" to do the impossible. However, the fact is that this flippy chain is made from the following: two bike chain links, two key rings and four o-rings. A quick RETAIL price search on Amazon shows that this could be made for about $1.15 (RETAIL). I am not sure if this Tom's Fidgets flippy chain, "handcrafted in the USA" is the ORIGINAL, but there are MANY "clones" of this available on Amazon for a much lower price. This one has nice bicolored chain links that you probably won't get with the clones, but I don't feel the price of this item is justified.

Helping with skin picking
I have been picking the skin on the side of my nails for as long as I can remember. I have tried so many things but never have been able to kick the habit. I have this obsession of skin being smooth and can't stand scabs or rough skin, gross, I know. Anyways, I have tried several fidget "toys" to help, including the push pop, the cube with different interactions, and all of them are either too big to carry around or make too much noise. I like this one because it is small, practically noiseless and doesn't look like some child's toy. The only downside is that it is so small, it's easy to loose, so just keep track of it! For anyone else who suffers from this, this device itself won't help kick the habit, every time I get the urge, I tell myself I don't like this habit and then find the device to redirect my brain from thinking about it. It's been about a week and I haven't picked yet. Fingers crossed I can kick the habit for good!

Saw this fidget toy on NerdECrafter
My husband uses straw wrappers, chopsticks wrappers, or without either he'll tear paper, for a fidget. When I was watching an artist instruction video I saw a sidebar link to a YouTube channel where the crafter was rating a fidget toy Advent calendar. I wasn't looking for a replacement for the tiny rolled up papers all over my husband's car; but when I saw the crafter playing with this fidget I recognized the movements her fingers made. So, my husband found the toy clunky at first but his hand quickly found the rhythm. He thinks he'd lose it in the car, but I see that he's got it on the table next to his side of the couch, and that he's been using it. I didn't get it to replace the torn paper, just to give him something to fidget with. This does what it's supposed to.
