Great game for young girls
This game is perfect for my 8 year old daughter. She loves the array of characters you can use and the interface is fairly simple to navigate so my 6 year old step-daughter enjoys playing with it too. Their favorite Monster High characters come to life, they talk as they skate through mazes that gradually increase in difficulty with each level. I am glad to have purchased this fun game both of my girls can enjoy together.

Monster skating is so much fun!
My 10 y.o. says, "I have lots of fun." I love having this stuff that depicts girls doing something fun and strong like skating. "The track you skate on when you start has giant tentacles when you come to the finish line. One will try to stop you so you dodge it." I wish they made these the active game style for the wii fit board. She wishes if you bumped people they would fall down. She's been raised Roller Derby.

Just had to reset the settings!
The game itself is fine and just like I remember! It did come with some stats from the previous owner so I had to reset it and it came a day late but other than that it was amazing!!!

Five Star Game for a Five Year Old
My daughter (5.5 years old) got this game for Christmas and has been playing almost daily for the past week and a half. She's a big fan of the Monster High characters and loves picking the perfect team to win. I like that you can unlock new characters and courses. For the price and theme, this is a great game for younger kids (probably ideally ages 5-9).

My daughter liked it
My daughter was super excited when I surprised her with this game. Being 9, she's all about Monster High. It's a fun race game similar to other kid themed racing games. Didn't really lock her in since she's only played it 4 or 5 times since I got it. It was still nice to add to her DS collection. Would recommend for Monster High fans.

Defect in disk!
The game itself is very fun. My 7 year old learned how to play it quickly and loves it. However, perhaps we got a defective disk, because we cannot finish a multi-player game. Anytime we play on multi mode, at the end of the race, the entire Wii locks up and the game freezes. We lose credit for playing (so we cannot unlock the players) and have to reset the Wii every time. It only ever happens with this disk and always in the same place, so it is not my machine. Otherwise, this game is fun and would be 5 stars if it actually worked properly!

There are a few good things about this game such as the controls being ...
My 7 year old daughter likes it, mainly because it is Monster High. There are a few good things about this game such as the controls being very straightforward and the speed is not too fast so younger kids don't get frustrated. But there are a number of drawbacks. There are only four tracks, and you don't get to pick which to race on except in the "timed" mode where you just try to beat your previous times. If you chose "race" or "relay" mode, you race all four tracks in the same order each time. And there is not a lot of variety between the tracks, mainly just a change of scenery. You do get to unlock more characters as you win races and each character has a different special ability so that does offer some variety I guess. But the special abilities fall into one of three categories: a speed boost, something to knock your opponent down or a temporary invincibility. The mulch-player is also poorly designed. You can not race against each other, only play on the same team. I do like that it promotes teamwork, but the actual play time is severely skewed towards player one. In relay mode, each player takes a lap around the track, but there are three laps, so player one gets to do the first and last lap while player two only gets to do the second lap. And player one starts first on all four tracks rather than it alternating who starts first. All in all, it is keeping my kid entertained but probably not for long.
