Looking forward to using the logsplitter,tray has just arrived,(phoned yesterday)pleasant people. To talk to at forest master. In North East l am on the monthly tip of Windermere,it is to backtracking for logs +firewood,i wood suggest buying stand and tray,you can feel the quality in the product(buy the stand with wheels,(your wife can manoeuvre it then)going to buy second V piece,do not buy any other than FORESTMASTER,FOR QUALITY.Joe South lakes,Cumbria.

Needs a safer 2 hand operation system
Can’t fault the splitter. Very disappointed with the stand. Didn’t come with the correct bolts. Wheels didn’t fit the spindles and had to be drilled to fit. Once it was finally put together it all worked fine and I was able to split a load of logs in a very short time. I don’t like the 2 hand operating system. (Holding power button and throttle at the same time) I was unable to stand a safe distance from the machine when splitting logs. If the 2 hand system needs to be used the power button needs moving to a better location. I don’t fancy a log miss splitting and flying out smashing into my face.
