Great lights with one hiccup
First of all, these lights are REALLY bright. I love the colors on the remote but I know that the LED strips are capable of a plethora of colors that aren't on the remote! Hence, I will likely purchase the Bluetooth control box from OPT7 themselves to be able to ditch the control and use my phone to access the other light colors. Secondly, each individual LED produces the light desired. What do I mean? I mean that if you were to cut out one of the LED's (imagining you could wire it to get power) you would be able to get the desired colored. Other LED strips come with separarte RGB lights meaning that you need three spaced out LEDs to get the color you want, and at that it'll be mediocre at best. These lights have the full RGB spectrum in each of their LEDs which I think is great. Third, they stick REALLY well to rough surfaces. Forth, I feel like a teen but I love these lights because they're so fun to look at!WIRING:I first ran into some issues with wiring. I performed a self install of this kit having absolutely no experience in car underbody work. I've installed interior mood lights, so I understand circuitry and cables, and that was enough to get me through. I drive a Genesis G80 and I wired the lights along the underbody of the car. Because my car is not really tall, I placed my lights along the inside of the rim (yes, I consulted my mechanic about my placement.) I carefully ran the wires away from the wheel and ziptied them to the underbody using holes I drilled. Then I ran the wires all the way to the front, where I still wasn't sure where to place the control box. My choice of install required that I remove each tire to install the lights and to Jack up two sides of the car at a time. I successfully installed the four strips and ran the wires to the engine bay, where I imagined I would place the control box. Now, the install kit comes with different wiring methods; a plug and play cigarette lighter connection and a piggy back fuse line in case you want to wire it in line with the car circuit (they include 3 different fuse adapters for different sizes although micro fuse was not included.) I considered running the box from my interior fuse box but I already have both a dashcam and interior mood lights coming from there and it's a cramped space. I ended up using an adapter that I had (because my car only uses micro fuses) to wire the box into the circuit and here ran into my first issue; the cables were not long enough to comfortably reach the box. Regardless of how I would set it up, the cables were about a foot too short from reaching the front most part of the engine bay and would not intersect at any other location. Thus, I contacted OPT7 support and looked for extensions on Amazon.I emailed OPT7 on Sunday and they replied early in the morning on Monday explaining that they would send not one, but 2 10ft cables as part of my warranty that I didn't even know I had. They were very kind and quick to reply! With the cables, I was able to run the lines along the underbody and through the Frame of the vehicle to rest at the passenger side in the front, right under the glove box.The lights work perfectly and the remote is ultra responsive, but I want to buy the Bluetooth control box soon!I am 100% satisfied with my buy and will look to OPT7 for any future lighting needs.

amazing lights with one drawback.
im going to start off with i really love these lights but they have one draw back and that is long lasting, at least for me that is. after 6 months the back right led strip stopped working and only half the leds came on. no big deal i contacted OPT7 and they sent me a replacement strip and it was here the next day. now a few months later 2 more of my strips are partially working and the main remote barely works for some reason, i have to hit a button about 20 times to get it to work but they key chain remote works perfectly i just lose out on the color fade feature and several colors due to the main remote not working.i will contact OPT7 again to see about buying 3 strips so i have one spare to replace the 4th one if it starts to act up as well and a new remote.i also want to get the underbody kit and replace my interior lights (led glow) with opt7 as well so its all the same set because i love there lights more then led glow as opt7 has a lot more customization compared to led glow. i just hope i get these fixed. (1st picture is of the same day they were installed brand new, 2nd-5th is the front right and back left strips and as you can see most of the LEDS do not work in those anymore for some odd reason, idk if its a defect in these but i had them installed in march and they went out early october of the same year and 1 went out a few months ago i already had replaced)edit: OPT7 replaced all of my defective lights free of charge and they have amazing customer service. (these lights have 2 year warranty apparently :)

Lighting up Downtown ABQ
So far, so good. I bought the tire light kit alongside the underbody glow kit from Aura. Nightlife culture here is huge here in New Mexico; people love to show off their cars and I am no exception! You may be wondering if the tire and underbody kit is too much for one vehicle - for my car, it isn't. There are two installation location suggestions per Aura: on the brake drum and the wheel well. Installing the light on each brake drum would be brighter, but there simply wasn't anyplace to adhere the light strips to on my Honda Civic without building anything custom, so I went with the wheel well which is a subtler overall effect. Since I also have the underbody kit, this was perfect, but if you ONLY have the tire kit, you may be disappointed with the brightness. The tire kit is controlled by a remote which is very cool. It can operate on 16+ LED colors in solid mode and / or pulse to music - perfect for my needs. I had a pro install the kits together, which took 5 hours total, but well worth it.

Nice addition to my visual mods
Cables that came with the kit weren't quite long enough to reach from the driver's footwell (where I have the control box mounted) to the Passenger-Rear.- Ordered 2 of the Y-Adapters directly from OPT7 and was able to make it work that way.The AUX wires that connect to your dome light is a really neat added bonus!Really happy with them so far (just finished installation yesterday) and think these will really add to the overall look of my Challenger. I just hope they stay!
