Optic Compatible Sight Set for Glock - 3XL Tall Black Serrated .365" Front, Flat Black .451" Rear

Rear sight was too tall for my old MGW sight pusher but a punch and a vise did the job. No filing required. Tapped right in. Typical quality of AMERIGLO. Highly recommend.

I'm currently running these as backup irons. They provide a lower 1/3 co-witness through my Aimpoint ACRO P2 on my Glock 19. Upon installation I did have to use a file to fit the rear sight, so be aware that yours might require some fitting. With that said, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable set of sights for a setup similar to mine.

Good sights to use with an optic. Installed on an OEM Glock slide milled by Jagerwerks with a Holosun 508T mounted. Tall enough to see through the window to use as backup sights if the optic goes down. Rear sight has approximately 0.15" clearance, so more than enough to get a good sight picture. If I were using without an optic and only running irons I would get the set with a tritium front. You will need at least a Glock front sight tool to install, plus recommend using blue loctite. Rear sight can be installed with a brass punch or a taped steel punch if you don't have a sight pusher.

I made the mistake of purchasing the Glock plastic sights for my Glock 19 Gen 3. Threw away $20 as the plastic screw that came with it immediately lost its head without hardly any pressure on the screw. Then got a tad smarter and got this metal one. I did leave the back sight, which was a pain to install without a sight pusher. They co-witness perfectly with my Holosum 407 optic. Sits just high enough over the Holosum rear to see, but not high enough to interfere with the glass window. Love the no frills black because the irons don’t detract from the red dot. Installation wasn’t terrible after I made my own front sight tool from an old socket I had lying around. Put a little Blue Loctite and now is ready to go. Lesson learned, don't be cheap by trying to save a couple of bucks. So far, this is working well and I can recommend it.

The sights are ideal for red dot optic, no busyness in optic window. The sights will require some fitting for installation.

Bought these AMERIGLO GL-506 Tall Black Serrated Suppressor .365" Front and Flat Black .451" Rear Sight Set for my Glock G34 MOS w Vortex Venom. It ended up being pretty much an absolute cowitness for me (hold-under aim). Sits just high enough over the Venom body to see but not overly high that it would take too much real estate in glass window. Love the no frills black because the irons don’t detract from the red dot. With a hold-under aim it was dead on at 7-yards and at 17-yards (just what my range offered for pistol distances). Installation wasn’t terrible but mine was an incredibly tight fit for the rear sights. Even with the dovetail cutout and base of rear sight generously oiled, I could not get it fully seated using sight pushing clamp tool on multiple repetitions. Eventually had to polish the base of the rear sights and dovetails with fine grit sandpaper and oil to just shave enough off for a proper squeeze.

Nice fit custom slide just fine. Easy to install.

If you are running a MRDS on a pistol with a Glock dovetail, you need these. Dots or bright vials make the sight picture too busy. These are just for a last ditch worst case scenario. For the price, you can’t do better. I have several sets of these and have recommended these dozens of times to others. Most likely too tall for a normal sight pusher. But these aren’t picky at all. A few taps with a plastic or leather mallet and they are on. A little blue loctite or VC3 on the front screw and you are ready to roll. These are taller than the old Ameriglo GL 429.
