Good quality
This spout is better than the original. I have looked for a replacement for a long time and gave these a shot. Worked perfectly and is large enough to allow for fast flow. I purchased additional spouts for my other cans. I would recommend this spout.

Worked perfectly as a spout replacement on my Gott gas can!
Old spout had cracked and leaked. Instead of throwing away the whole gas can, I bought this replacement spout. It fit perfectly on my Gott 2.5 gallon can. It poured without leaks when I needed to use it recently.

I like and will buy a couple more, but know what you may be getting into.
Bottom line: I like the design of this rigid spout, and once I altered the spout it works really well; it did NOT work well for me at all at first. I like the screw on yellow cap. I did not like the looks of the plastic vent, so I bought a metal vent kit at the same time I bought the EZ-Pour...will comment more later on that. I attached the spout with the yellow course attachment ring and there was no leaking around that junction to the can. The PROBLEM was that the gas would not pour out of the can well at all; I took the spout off, removed the metal screen at the base of the spout, and looked inside the spout from the wider end. I saw a thin black membrane of residual plastic at the angle, that is the junction between the wider black tube and the narrower end; it did not completely occlude the spout, but almost did. I got a steak knife and scraped away that plastic membrane inside the tube, reassembled the parts of the EZ-Pour, and then found that it work great. You may want to consider using the metal vent kit I got on Amazon: EONLION 3 Pack Gas Can Vent Caps, Stainless Steel Fuel Can Vent Kit. It comes with great install kit and instructions, and great install video on Amazon.

Works well, replaces the worthless government mandated nozzle
This was a fairly easy conversion. The hardest part, which was not particularly hard, was drilling and installing the vent plug. Now my new gasoline container works as well as my 20 year old one. This is a good modification to replace the worthless government mandated nozzle.

Perfect fit for Midwest can
I like filling my scooter tank at home instead of having to stop at the gas station and mess with helmet and gloves and the fume cover on the nozzle. Unfortunately, I hate most of the safety nozzles because my tank is in the floorboards and I always end up spilling with them. The one that came with my Midwest can had some kind of faulty seal and would leak out the sides of the cap while you were getting the nozzle into place. Actually created more of a safety issue than just a regular nozzle.I got one of these to see if I could make the can usable instead of buying a whole new one. It took less than a minute to install and then I was able to just uncap it and fill my bike easily. Absolutely a game changer. I'm not worried about anyone else having access to my gas can and I don't store gas in it super long term, so I don't really need the extra safety features, and I'm just not coordinated enough to actually get a benefit out of them. Should have replaced the nozzle years ago. I do kind of wish it had a sharper angle because the opening of my tank is parallel to the ground, but still worth it.I didn't install the vent and didn't have any trouble emptying a 2 gallon container into my gas tank. I probably won't install it, but having it included is a positive as are the extra rings for fit. The seal is great. I can hold a full tank upside down with the cap on and nothing leaks. I wouldn't recommend it, but if it gets knocked over when capped you're probably fine.

Make a better investment of your old Gas Containers
I just hate today's gas cans with all of their security blocks that make using them tedious and double slow. I love my old plastic containers, but their pieces were getting aged, or lost. I found this repair kit for spout and breather caps. I found each kit had the exact fit for both of my containers. I used a high-pressure washer to clean the grunge of age off my old cabs now, and they look near new, and work even better than new!

Worked great for just over a year
Worked great, however now it won’t tighten without skipping a turn and going loose again.

Works Great
The only problem was that the supplied collars for attaching to the jug could not be used. The original one on the jug works best.
